Cant see how it is not a distraction regardless of what they say..it is definitely a distraction.
If he does that I am through with the Pats.Belichick.
Fox Sports blows, their web ages bog down so bad you cannot even comment or read commentsBecause what gets Fox more viewers and web hits? The controversy!
Was gonna say would never happen, but if BB was in charge of this and has been doing this for some time, yeah, he probably SHOULD be fired, but nothing has been proven yet. Lets see how this goes.If Kraft fires Belichick, I'll never support the Patriots again. And I'm dead serious, born and raised twenty five years a Pats fan.
Indeed. There's several things that possibly could make me cease to spend any money on the NFL. I';ll see how this plays out.If Kraft fires Belichick, I'll never support the Patriots again. I may never watch the NFL again. I'm dead serious, born and raised twenty five years a Pats fan. I never cared for Kraft whom I believe owes a hell of a lot to Belichick and Brady.
Kraft would hurt his legacy with his own fans by firing belechick.
Live by the sword, die by the sword.
Back your coach up dude and go after the nfl for being hypocrites.
If the Vikings were WARMING balls in plain sight and no one cared then kraft needs to ask why it matters now. Not fire the man who brought him all the success. If he did that he might as well throw all the trophies in the trash cause that's what he'd be saying.
You would really hope not....https://twitter.com/nflonfox/status/558042108506820610
That makes sense to me too.
But there's the whole ambushing thing.
Unless Belichick and the Patriots were privately warned to stop this practice, Jay Glazer is reporting that it was the League's intention to ambush them/catch them by surprise at half-time (Im putting that in my own words) when a simple warning to desist would have avoided ALL of this.
If so, shame on the League.
And I can't imagine that Belichick would have ignored a warning by the League to stop and then not comply.. again.

Yeah, Curran is wishing for the demise of BB. Out of your mind.Curran is speculating I dont believe a word of it. even if they find the Pats culpable there will be no way to prove who did what. Not going down like Curren wants it to no matter how bad he wishes it.
I've been following the team since Lou Saban was the coach and I'm with you on that. I'm pretty close to bailing anyway with the way the Krafts are [not] handling this.If Kraft fires Belichick, I'll never support the Patriots again. I may never watch the NFL again. I think you all underestimate how highly Kraft sees himself within the league itself. Nor is it unprecedented for owners to make shocking moves to preserve their own integrity, or ego, or otherwise.
Super Bowl-winning head coach Josh McDaniels has a nice ring to it, if the unthinkable happens.
Can you imagine Goodell having to hand BB the SB trophy? He is either suspending BB or Pats are getting 20 flags in that game.Agree completely. If he stands with Göodel over Belichick I'm done.
The Patriots are different. The Patriots, like it are not, are 'repeat offenders' in terms of violating the precious 'league ethics' or whatever they call it. The Patriots thumbed their noses at everyone after Spy Gate- rightfully so in most respects- and continued to win. People resent the Patriots. People want BB, on the cusp of another SB, to finally be humbled. This is it. AGAIN AND AGAIN, the question is whether Kraft is willing to stand by BB through another ****storm. I tend to agree with Curran: I think, with the 'integrity of the LEAGUE!' at stake, he'll be less inclined than he was with Spygate...Sean Peyton was not fired for being the coach of a team who wanted to intentionally hurt players. Mike Tomlin was not fired for internationally tripping an opposing player.
I find it hard to believe Kraft will fire Belichick because balls were under-infalted. You get rid of Bill, Brady follows and this team and their success goes down the drain.
Another black eye in favor of continued success seems like a fair trade to me if I'm Kraft. If Goodell doesn't help with this situation at the end point, then does Kraft really give a flying crap whether or not he's still BFFs with the commish?
Yeah, Curran is wishing for the demise of BB. Out of your mind.
Do you realize there's a difference between making an argument that you believe to be true, versus an argument that defends what you really really prettyplease want?
And even then it's possible that all of those reports could be false and nothimg really happened... unlikely but not impossible until we know the leagues statement and reportHonestly I have no idea what to think and why are we going to these conclusions.
Pats are alleged to have underinflated balls after they were checked by refs
Balls were checked and new ones used during the whole second half.
11 of 12 were under by 2lbs per square inch.
League is investigating.
That's all we know at this point. Will just wait as more info arrives, and ultimately a league statement.
