Losing to OAK right now.Buffalo isn't looking too dangerous right now...
Typical game plan vs TB.Don't think there was one deep pass even attempted. Pathetic.
Typical game plan vs TB.
-Blitz Brady early , get him uncomfortable and force him seeing ghosts
-Athletic d-linemen can beat NE o-linemen in 1-1 matchups
-Flood the middle of the field b/c NE does not possess a outside the lines deep threat
-Keep 1-2 safeties back b/c of above and Brady can't throw the deep ball.
-Drop 7-8 in coverage b/cNE doesn't like to run the ball and will never commit.
Not many teams have as talented a defensive front 4 as the Jets (though one could argue that a similar set of dlinemen are our next opponent). We have 5 weeks to get the oline as healthy as possible (though it could be argued 3 weeks). This team has yet to defeat that defensive gameplan when it matters.

Dear Edelman: Get well soon, Sincerely PatsFans.com
We took down:
NYJ
BUF
CIN
DEN
DET
MIA
All teams with great personnel in their front. But when these contests get tighter and titles or on the line, the team hasn't responded yet, and the recent play of the o-line (albeit with injuries) has become concerns. Here's to changing that pattern in a few weeks.
Plus the corpse of Troy Palamalu playing safety. Brady was able to play games with Troy when he was still alive! Are you kidding. The Steelers have no pass rush and basically win shootouts with their offense.
Because when you're under pressure, what's definitely called for is slow developing long pases.Don't think there was one deep pass even attempted. Pathetic.
Yeah that's kind of my point.Because when you're under pressure, what's definitely called for is slow developing long pases.
So what did they do? First series...THREE PASS PLAYS..and out. They let Gee-No!! sit in the pocket the entire first half.Kerley burned them just like I said he would. They played soft zone defense over and over in the secondary. There was no need for this close of a game....but, for some reason they did exactly what they SHOULDN'T have done with this putrid Jets team...again.
Take the win, throw the entire garbage tape of this fiasco and crap can it. If a fan can call the tenor of a game the day before then, jeezus, maybe this staff should rethink their pregame strategies. You have a suffocating man secondary. You have beasts in Hightower and Collins. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!!! Open the damned game by establishing at least the INTENT to run the ball. So sick of this "genius" McD asshat offensive plans.
Solder had a negative play or two as the tight end...People on this board have been watching football too long to not understand that a divisional rival playing their superbowl will be a dog fight. Blowouts aren't a gimme in this league and against MIA last week we had to earn the right to blow them out.
1) Amendola has confirmed that his limited production is a product of being behind Edelman.
2) Josh Kline is worse than Duane Starks was. Kline being next to Solder makes Solder play worse.
3) Collins and Hightower are MEN.
