1. Chiefs - Andy Reid might not win any awards for game management, but he can run an offense that has had success against BB. They have a solid QB, the best running game in the league, physical options and a good d-line. Their secondary is weak and if they are behind they are in trouble.

2. Ravens - I know they got thrashed by the Steelers. But that front 7 is really good. Flacco is not elite, but he's dangerous in the playoffs. I think they'll sneak into the playoffs and we could play them in the divisional round.

3. Broncos - We should be able to demolish them, but home-field is important, i don't know what to go up to Denver to play them

4. Colts - I said this in his rookie year, i said this last year, Luck is elite and has potential to be on the greatest ever. He has all the tools. But, their defense is jekyll and hyde, their running game is average and their O-Line is ok. We should be able to control the clock against them.

The rest
Steelers - defense is not good enough, they always have a tough time with us.
Bengals - Marvin Lewis and Hue Jackson, BB will have a field day with them
Dolphins - I always worry about them, but Tannenhill will find a way to choke
Bills - talented, but still our little brother

Baltimore will not throw up on themselves if they come into Gillette as Denver did. They are experienced at winning here and are not intimidated by anything we throw at them. Not a great matchup for New England. I'd rather play Pitt.

The Broncos are still the biggest threat. They're the best team in the AFC, with the possible exception of the Patriots.

The biggest threat is still the Broncos and I certainly don't want to play the Ravens in January.

All four are tough, especially in their own houses, but, the biggest threat in my mind is, no doubt, the Broncos in Denver.
After that? The next game they play against an AFC opponent.

[I had written a much longer post but that's what I really think.]

KC is only one game behind Denver for the division, and they play again at Arrowhead. The KC faithful are going to be going mental that game. Very likely loss for Denver IMO. They could very well take the division, force Denver into a wildcard which would be a one and done, and come to the Razor in the AFCCG for an epic revenge beating.

Flacco is more dangerous in the play offs when he can throw up prayers and let Boldin just catch them like they're nothing. Haven't seen many Raven games but from what I have seen, this team is no realistic threat to us.

Denver lost HFA last night. Fact.

Belichick so far owns Luck harder than he owns Peyton.

Our only potential loss, in my eyes, is on the road against San Diego, which in the very least will give another AFC West team a win (and also won't be enough to cost us HF IMO.

Patriots may very well of won the AFC with last night's Bronco beat down

1. injuries

2. everyone else

The Broncos are overrated, soft, no heart trash that will wilt with their quarterback at the earliest sign of adversity, and they lost HFA last night for good. They're done. I hope they didn't forget their letterman jackets on the way out the door.

You like to make statements like this. That's fine. History has been against you, though, as recently as last year. The "soft" team in last year's AFCCG was the NE team, not the Denver team.

It doesn't matter if Denver beat the Patriots while the entire defense was on IR and Gronk was sitting at home, unless their strategy for doing it again is crossing their fingers in hopes it's that way again.

When they have to play THE PATRIOTS, and not a bunch of bums Belichick brings in to play for injured players, Denver -and Peyton- aren't in our league.

You've been hyping Denver all season. I said we were going to dominate them.

Denver dominated.

0-5 against Gronk
1-3 against the Patriots since signing Peyton.

Stop hyping that trash.

Steelers - defense is not good enough, they always have a tough time with us.

I don't know about that. We seem to be building off of the mantra that the Patriots used for years - the best defense is a good offense. In that regard, teams are having to come out throwing against us because Roethlisberger is going to continue shredding secondaries which forces teams to become one dimensional. This leads to turnovers and we've seen this now back to back weeks. If we do end up meeting, it's going to result in a shootout. Peyton may not be able to play in cold weather, but Ben was practically born in it.

You just showed us why Denver isn't the biggest threat, and we just showed you why the Colts and Ravens aren't really threats either - porous defenses that can be thrown at and attacked at will.

We might have stepped into a twilight zone episode in which it's 2008, and the Patriots and Steelers are the two best teams in the AFC right now.

The Patriots got their asses beat by Miami and K.C. this season. To act as if yesterday, Denver's only bad loss of the season, is some proof that Denver is the soft team is nothing more than acting like a homer displaying a selective memory.

As for hyping Denver, I said at the start that it's Denver and NE, and then everyone else. Nothing has changed that.

They got beat by Miami in 120 degree weather on week #1, and lost to KC while sorting out their offensive line. In other words, very typical defeats for early Patriot season football before becoming world beaters.

Nothing to see here.

This is week 9 when teams should be sorted and we beat the Broncos like we beat the Bears.

Every time we see Denver, as long as our marquee players are on the field, each loss is more embarrassing for them then the last. You over praise hot garbage lead by the choker supreme.

I saw the 2010 Patriots outscore the 2007 Patriots over their final 8 games, beating all four of the eventual championship game participants (three in blowout fashion), setting what I believe is a record for point differential over that time.....

Only to lose to a team they trounced by six touchdowns whose playoff future was in doubt just a few weeks prior.

Needless to say, it is way too early for me to form any conclusions or even say that a rematch with Denver would go as favorably.

The Patriots didn't whip any Denver ass in last year's playoffs.

There's plenty to see for those who choose not to be willfully blind.

Only to lose to a team whose playoff future was in doubt just a few weeks prior that they already beat by six touchdowns.

Needless to say, it is way too early for me to form any conclusions or even say that a rematch with Denver would go as favorably.

This..... 45-3 win followed by a 28-21 loss

Hello.

Gronk was at home, Aaron Hernandez was in jail, Welker was in Orange, nearly our entire defense was injured. Our biggest weapon was supposed to be Blount.

Who here is being willfully blind? Those are the conditions it took for the Broncos to get their ONLY win against us since the start of Tebowmania.

The Broncos were missing a whole bunch of their players, too. They still won the game.

You're being willfully blind.
