I knew we shouldn't of let Blount go >.<

Hope Ridley has a great recovery if it is his ACL

Well he went whole season without a fumble ....

But seriously - I like him on our team. Terrible injury. Hope him the best and hope he's back

There goes our run game.

Seriously? As much as I like Ridley, he's only 1 part of the New England running game.

If we can keep the 2-TE offense running, then that will more than offset Ridley's loss, and set up the other RB's for some quality runs. Plus, let's not forget Devlin.

Football is a game of many facets, and one of those is attrition. The Patriots can weather this.

If that report is accurate, it probably ends Ridley's tenure with the team.

Too bad for him. Thought he was really coming on and seemed to have got past the fumbling and gained the coaches trust back. I'm sure in a contract year that is hard pill to swallow. Hope it isn't as serious as they say. Hasn't had the MRI so we don't know the severity of the injury/situation as of yet.

I liked the way he was running so far this year. That's too bad. Looks like more of James White and perhaps they will bring up Jonas Gray. He is a bigger back and might be a good change of pace player as compared to White , Bolden and Vereen

Vereen has been inconsistent, particularly between the tackles, Bolden is...well, Bolden, and White is a complete unknown. It's a big loss.

I may be higher on Ridley than most here, but i think he's a key player. Our best Runner by far, and a great one at that too (even more so now that he is with better ball security)

I don't trust neither White or Bolden as our main carrier and Vareen isn't that great, only as a receiver option.

I am really bummed

I firmly believed he would go over 1,000 this season. This hurts the offense severely, especially when the weather changes. Someone must step up to establish that balance. He is the only guy that could consistently get tough yards between the tackles. That Tyms TD doesn't happen today without Ridley having the kind of game he was having. People get wrapped up in the fumbles and forget that he was still the best RB on this team, even when Blount had the run he did.

It hurts from a team perspective, but it also hurts just watching the young kid finally get the ball-handling under control and was having a very good season thus far lose it all so suddenly, in a contract year no less. I wish him a speedy recovery. I wonder if he signs on a one-year, prove it deal with NE after rehab. I think NE would have been on the fence about extending him, leaning more toward not.

I think this team is pretty good. Injuries can quickly derail any team in the league. They need to get things settled quick, beat NY, and see what's what when they have more than a week to the following game.

Ridley, though not close to top 10 most important on this squad, was a very very useful player.

Ridley has a running style where he seemingly skips ahead on air through tacklers. He has a movement I don't see in others. I saw NOTHING from White as far as running ability. I think he is supposed to be a pass catching Vereen backup. Gray was a Bolden clone. Bolden is adwquate I guess but I was sorry to see Blount go.

I think they must take a look a Gray. He's a bigger, between the tackles type of running back.

Ashley, that was my thought exactly, when I heard it may be an ACL season ending injury. They will IR Ridley and bring Gray to the active roster. Similar style running back to Ridley.
