Well I've noticed that when you do you don't have buffoons mocking you and posting pictures of Eddie Murphy having 20 guns drawn on him like what I said was ridiculous. A mock is by nature a hypothetical exercise. Maybe it dawned on them that it wasn't so far fetched.

I don't blame you for getting frustrated and annoyed, without having analyzed in detail the record of what was or wasn't said. We all get irritated at times - sometimes with specific individuals - and most of us have said things that may have gone a bit over the edge. There are times that I have timed out from the board because I've been so annoyed with certain posters, and for my own sanity. The "ignore" option is also a useful tool in avoiding those kind of situations. But I think you have to draw the line short of deliberate personal attacks and invective. It doesn't help make your point, and it's probably not good for your own mental health.

I think having their first three DTs on the depth chart out for the season might have had something to do with that.

I think you missed the boat completely in understanding what I was saying. I said nothing about linebackers and I didn't say they shouldn't draft a DT, just pointing out that they need to get one that isn't just a run stopper.

Let's revisit the defensive tackle position as it stands today:

Tommy Kelly - 33 year old recovering from torn ACL
Armond Armstead - unknown entity recovering from undisclosed surgery
Sealver Siliga - meh
Chris Jones - meh

Isaac Sopoaga - Cut
Cory Grissom - Cut

The New England Patriots cut two run stuffers (Sopoaga, Grissom) and the third run stuffer (Wilfork) has requested a release from the team.

I think DT is going to be our top need headed into the draft. I have us with 6 holes to fill; DT, DE, WR, SS, TE and C.

I think we'll lock up good players at te, de and wr in free agency. My wish list would be Allen, Edelman or Steve Smith and a good blocking te.

There are some pretty good dt's whom could be available at 29. Hageman, Jernigan, Nix and Tuitt. I want one who can get after the qb. I'd prefer Hageman or Tuitt. I do like Calvin Pryor too. If he's there at 29, we could take him. Then, in Round 2 we could take a kid like Quarles or Mayo's binkey Easley. If Pryor is on board at 29. CBS has him at 26. We could get him Quarles and Swanson.

I’m spectacularly please that BB is going after DBs in free agency. I’m a believer in the Michael Lombardi philosophy of “draft what you can’t buy”, since we’re buying these DBs we hopefully don’t need to spend early picks on them and can go after some stud linemen instead.

If we walk away with Aaron Donald and Joel Bitonio I’ll be quite pleased.
