Explosive New Hernandez Details

Oh really - so the reports that Hernandez was seen on video surveillance Monday morning must mean that the video surveillance was not in working order?

Ok Pom Pom....You live in dream land.

Uh, it was the neighbors' video that has AH on it, not his video

Has anyone considered that Hernandez and the other men were EXTREMELY INTOXICATED?

I think that's a fair assumption, though I'm still hazy on the timeline of when they were at the bar together. Still, it's a 45 minute drive from Boston to North Attleborough. Never having driven drunk, I would still presume that's a long ways to go if you're completely hammered.

This could explain the fact that they left the car, and some other mind boggling details.....After all, they were bar hopping all night...

Yep... there are lots of angles to this. Assuming (and let me emphasize assuming) that the major facts of these case were reported with fair accuracy, it sounds like this would be a tough case to try for murder one. There is no murder weapon and the suspect was friends with AH- it's not like a rival gang member or sworn enemy. Alcohol, self-defense, a bunch of arguments could be brought up.

The fact he was found in an industrial park sure makes it sound premeditated. But was AHs car actually at the scene or not? Can't figure out if that's a fact or a another example of shoddy reporting.

Thanks for the clarification.

With that said - don't be surprised that the company which is providing Hernandez's video monitoring service package also has the video backup to his home which may corroborate what the neighbors' video has along with the data of when his system was materially affected.

Yup, there's a million unanswered questions. And a lot of things that don't make sense. Like as you say, why three guys would go pick up a fourth man, drive him to an industrial park, execute him, leave their car, and the body, and walk home. That's presumably the narrative of the folks here who are convinced Hernandez is DIRECTLY involved in the murder - and it's a narrative I still have trouble accepting given what we know.

So, just as yesterday, I'm fine making my best judgement about Hernandez' behavior and conduct as it pertains to his future in the NFL and with the team. But as for the murder, legal/criminal repercussions, it's beyond premature. I think if posters separated the two, there'd be a lot less bickering in this thread.

a resident poster says that's NOT where the body was found (an industrial park) That's the town landfill/recycling center

All I've seen is "nearby" (see map above to get an idea of what it looks like). Reporting has been shoddy and conflicting at times, so it's hard to know what's a real hard fact.

He never went to prison, but no one else was even convicted of anything. He paid a price in other ways.

As for the preaching, I think it's sincere, but many of us are kind of glad it's over.

What other feckin ways did Ray-Ray pay a price? What a crock of shyte.

And if you claim his preaching was sincere, then you're either stupid or a liar.

Damn, I hate Ravens gangsta apologist fanthugs.

I don't think there's been enough groundless speculation, so I'm going to just throw out there that Odin Lloyd was the estranged first cousin of Brandon Lloyd. The two were known to clash at family gatherings, and during his time here, Brandon Lloyd often left practice with Hernandez not in their own cars but in a van-like vehicle festooned with cryptic gang symbols, including flames next to the wheels and reportedly an airbrushed shirtless figure holding a sword standing over a slain dragon.

I didn't say any of it was true. I said I'd just throw it out there.

Hey this is fun.

There is a murder weapon, it was found on the scene next to the body. His rental car 2013 Suburban SUV(I think) was also found at the scene. They are currently searching for a second vehicle(also reported as rented by AH). The missing car allegedly has mirror damage and is a 2013 Chrysler 300 with RI Tags

What's interesting in this photo is how does someone get back "shortly after"?

Strolling through heavily wooded areas at 3 AM is somewhat academic.

Likewise, a neighbor's camera would indicate the front. Taking the road looks much longer.

I wonder if that missing girlfriend/aunt has it.

This is a good example of why people shouldn't just jump on all this stuff. The reports are that a gun was found nearby. The reports are also that the gun couldn't be the murder weapon because it was the wrong caliber.

has what?

It was reported that a hand gun was found at the scene, next to the dead body, which was also next to the rented SUV(According to Enterprise rental, Aaron Hernandez rented said SUV in addition to a 2013 Chrysler 300 which is missing).

Do you mean the Chrysler 300? If so, I doubt it as the police found her yesterday I think.

I hadn't read that anywhere, can you provide a link please? That may indicate that Odin(or someone else was carrying as well), which would be a great starter self defense claim...esp if it is proven that the gun found was Odins...

People roll their eyes at Ray Lewis because he is put on a pedestal as a holier than thou figure, and I kill Ray Lewis lovers like I kill Kobe Bryant lovers.

ABC just announced that the MSP have issued a warrant for your arrest.

Second, the gun recovered near Odin’s body is not the murder weapon. Joe Shortsleeve of WBZ tells news that the weapon found near Odin was not the weapon used to kill Odin. “Sources tell … Karen Anderson the man found dead in north Attleboro was shot and a gun was found nearby but it was not the weapon used”.

Odin Lloyd, Aaron Hernandez Latest Update Prompts Non Matches

According to WBZ’s Karen Anderson, a gun was recovered Wednesday by Massachusetts State Police in close proximity to the area where the 27-year-old man was found, about 1 1/2 miles from the home of Hernandez, however it is not believed to be the murder weapon because it is the wrong caliber.

A handgun was found but it is not the murder weapon

Schefter is known to be reliable and its not just on ABC news now, in fact, it is on nearly ALL the major networks, and has been independently verified by NBC, WBZ, and ABC so far...
Did you read the tweet and/or know how twitter works? He literally ABC. That means that ABC is his 'source'. If ABC's right, then he's right. If ABC's wrong, then he's wrong. No independent corroboration. Reliability doesn't enter into it, at all. He reported that ABC was reporting that an arrest was imminent.
