I applaud Ian for taking care of this, the 'Daniel McJosh' routine was evidence that he wasn't going to respect the football forum ban.

i think Ian and others did all they could. i don't know the guy and i never got in his crosshairs, probably because i'm relatively new, but i did find that i stopped reading threads where he was posting heavily because the discussion deteriorated. and, on a bad day, that was a lot of threads.

I know Ian feels badly it came to this. I can only imagine how much time over the years Ian spent dealing with NEM related issues. No need to get into what they are anymore.

I do wish the guy my sincere best wishes and hope that he can re-direct a lot of the energy, anger, and time spent on Patsfans and other forums in a more positive manner. Many of his football posts had value and I know he enjoyed the discussion here, but the good did not outweigh the bad in Ian's opinion and that's the only opinion that really counts here.

I put aside my anger and issues with NEM awhile ago and hope NEM at somepoint does the same with all those he butted heads with.

I am the father of Anna Nicole's baby, NEM is the father of Mary Cheney's baby!

Seriously, alot of people over at the political board tried to help NEM, some even went waaaaay out of there way, in trying to help him. We even decided to allow football related posts over there to keep NEM engaged. Ian gave him every chance in the world, and yet he still crossed him.

Joe, your post pretty well sums it up - I agree.

Ian probably felt bad but was left with no choice.

This group is NOT better off without him, he is an original Pat fan and has stories from the very beginning that we will not be able to hear about anymore.

However, with all his personal problem over the past few months and the way he responded in here toward life - it was over the edge, far far over the edge and that is too bad.

NEM - I wish you the very best and hope that somehow, you can get your life turned around and someday, get back in here contributing what you can in the true spirit of a Patriots fanatic and not the way it all ended up.
