The 2012 season: the Jets [Mod Edit: STILL] suck

We must support Cromartie. Keep Sanchez IN! Keep Sanchez IN! Keep Sanchez IN!

Heh heh you said "support" and "Cromartie" but you're not a process server.

Just to put things in perspective we've had two threads this season on this board where people were suggesting the Pats ditch him...

People were probably more annoyed at how he was being used. He's been great in that role of a change of pace back and as a receiver for Brady.

McDaniels running Woodhead up the middle on 3rd and 1 with the 220 pound Ridley on the sidelines is what pissed me off.

And just to be clear...i never wanted him gone.

Hey no offense buddy but you didn't hate the JEST even a little bit in that last post. This is becoming dangerously close to cogent commentary. We have standards to live down to.

who had the more more embarrassing portion of the following stat:

The Bills had more penalty yards then Sanchez had passing.

Can we assume that Rah!Rah! "unlimited ceiling" for Sanchez is so low that Peter Dinklage would have to crawl to fit under?

Sanchez sucks something fierce. And the best part is that he is uncuttable by the Jets this offseason. Meaning at worst he will be competing for the starting job next season. More likely, they will be giving him the starting job and hoping he will turn it around with a new OC.

So it looks like Marky (Off the) Mark might have had a pretty open receiver in the end zone when he threw that pick yesterday.

There was a double serving of chicken little soup after the first three games. I wasn't referring to the posters that were advocating his touches be limited and he be used in the role he's most suited for; I completely agree with that. I was referring to those that thought he no longer had a role at all or were blaming every stalled drive on him. People incapable or unwilling to wrap their minds around the fact that when a guy gets 1/4 of the touches of a regular back, mostly in high leverage situations, judging him based on a few games is insanity.

Back on topic! I like the fact that the Jets' front office seems on par with the kneejerk, bipolar PatsFans crew!

I'm to blame; I've tried to rectify my mistake.

And this is the reason why Sanchez is terrible. Yes, he lacks playmakers, and yes, most quarterbacks would not put up elite numbers in the Jets offense. More concerning than the stats is his terrible field vision and lack of accuracy. I've watched most Jets games this year, and that scene happens quite frequently. This guy will just never be a good NFL quarterback, and he's not even close. Jets fans keep saying that Eli Manning was terrible until year four, which is true, with some big differences:

1. Eli Manning is a good quarterback now, but he still struggles with the same things that always haunted him: too many risky passes and too much reliance on jump balls (throws into coverage) that eventually prevent him from joining the likes of Brees, Brady, Roethlisberger, and Rodgers, guys who can put up gaudy numbers while minimizing turnovers.

2. It was clear even back then that Eli had the physical tools and pocket presence that would eventually allow him to grow into a good quarterback. Eli, even in his early years, showed flashes of brilliance. He didn't throw wildly on on six yard slant routes, could executed a screen, and had very good arm strength. In addition, he could get into a groove and sling the ball at a high level of accuracy. Sanchez displays none of these traits.

I truly believe that Sanchez is one of the worst quarterbacks I've seen in the NFL, or at least the very worst high-draft pick at the position. I see absolutely no traits of why he was drafted so high, as he lacks every quality of being an NFL quarterback. His accuracy is not at an NFL level, his decision making is erratic, and his arm strength is well below average. He doesn't have ideal height. I simply do not understand what scouts saw in him. With most high draft picks, you at least see something that stands out as elite. Even Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russel had the physical tools to succeed in the league. I can't see why Sanchez had a draft grade higher than 3rd or 4th round.

Moronic Jets Fans...

Jets fans have finally decoded, after 43 years why their team is a perpetual joke. They correctly blame management incompetence, starting with Woody the Owner.

But they don't have any effective ideas what to do.

They have suggested boycotting games,
Thehy have suggested forfeiting PSLs,
They have suggested bag heads for the fans,
They have suggested buying a Billboard
They have suggested buying a newspaper add for a Petition.

None of which will work.
Most agree Woody the Owner won't care.:(

I wouldn't want to sign up on GG or JI, and in a charitable moment feel sorry for these ******ed Jets fans, but if any trolling Jetskis see this, tehy can carry back an idea or two. Here are some suggestions from one of many literate and intelligent Patsfans. To my fellow Patsfans, Please Help out these poor Boobs.:snob:

What I think they need is to start making a joke out of Woody the Billionaire baby. When peopel start laughing at him, it won't be Fun anymore to be an Owner, and he might sell, or clean house to stop it.;)

Simply substitute the word 'Woody' in any joke or story where moron or idiot is used.

Fashion 'Woody' Dunce caps, and wear them at games.:)
Fashion Statements for the Dunce caps like:
"Sell the Jets!":p
"Woody is a Moron!":D
"Larry, Moe, Curly, AND Woody. The Four Stooges":)

Remember we Pats fans had our share of Doofus owners, too. Remember the Shaver Saleman?

Sit back and enjoy the show AzPatsFan.

this is..wow

The loss hurts, but I still think this Jets team turned some heads... - Jets Insider.com Forums

The Pats aren't the vaunted team many try to make them out to be, they are still bad on defense, and despite the fact Brady is Brady, the offense has a lot of holes.

#1 O has a lot of holes? Then what does the jets O have? No holes?

Sanchez didn't play horribly today, that statement is so far off base, it's almost pathetic that is made.

9/22 for 124 and an INT isn't horrible?

Actually, Sanchez outplayed Brady yesterday, look up the stats.

Next..

How are people on there agreeing with him?

The best part about the Jest sucking this year is their cap situation...

Guaranteed suckage for years to come :D

The post you're quoting is from October. Not that it made any sense then, either, but it wasn't about yesterday.

What game was it after? First time i have seen that thread. Either way...kids a tard

Hmm, looks like the photo I linked to a few posts ago, showing Hill wide open in the end zone on the Sanchez pick play yesterday, has gone missing. Since such levels of suckitude are worth any extraordinary effort to share, here it is again:

Stephen-Hill-Jumping-Jacks.jpg

And a story link:
Stephen Hill Does Jumping Jacks in End Zone While Mark Sanchez Throws Interception

If I were a member of JI, I'd post that in the "Question for SAR" thread so that I could read his explanation of how that wasn't Sanchez' fault.
