Hah -- yeah, like I said, get ready for the "he's leading the Broncos to the playoffs" stuff. You know, the same Broncos that made it to the playoffs last year with Tim "I Can't Take Any Snaps Away Mark Mark Sanchez" Tebow at QB. Denver was improving rapidly before Manning came along.

All due respect to Manning because he's a great player having a great season, and he might well earn the MVP. It's just that the fawning is a bit overdone.

Lets say the Broncos lose to the steelers in the first game of the playoffs, Will these ball washers in the media say that Tebow is better than Manning? lol :D

oh look more Manning MVP ball washing on NFL Network.

Yet no mention of how he has lost to the only 3 teams that are more than likely playoff bound on their schedule so far.

Kind of like how the Patriots did that last year?

when manning wins its because if him. When he loses, its the defense and other players around him . was same in indy.Brady always had this against him that he had a better defense. He hasnt had one for few yrs now and yet no one seems to bring that up. I guess all the demonstrations at the LOC by manning enamor media people as some immortal . I like watching manning play..its the media which which races to crown him first which is bothersome,

No. They will say its manning's first yr with this 'new' set of players and they have overachieved and come back next yr even better. Or they will blame the defense.
In all honesty, denver can be quite dangerous in the playoffs.

Coming up on CBS...Shannon Sharpe sits down with peyton manning.

U mean Sharpe lets Peyton sit bare ass on his face and Sharpe licks Peytons behind??? coz thats what the mediots seem to be doing these days

Yeah, except everybody constantly brought that up, even all the way up to the AFC Championship.

Do not underestimate Peyton Manning.

Actually I think it is his 38th.
HOWEVER. Manning has played 216 career games. He has been behind 1 score with the ball, in the 4th, in 82 of them (about 38% of his games) and won 38 of them (about 46% of them)
Tom Brady has played in 169 career games and trailed by 1 score with the ball in the 4th in 47 of them (about 28% of his games) and won 26 of them (55%)

So, Tom Brady gets his team into a position where they are behind less often, and when he does he pulls the game out more often.
Who is a better 4th Qtr comeback QB?

This is just hilarious. The only reason the Bengals were ever ahead, and even had a prayer of winning that game, was because of Manning's boneheaded plays.

I don't think Peyton does that to anyone anymore. Last time he did that, he was sued, and he paid out some big $$$.

Peyton should be a shoe-in for Comeback Player of the Year, but the MVP as of right now should either go to his little brother or Matt Ryan. Of course, plenty of things could change throughout the course of the season.

i am not so sure about that even . . . AP had his knee blow out last December and is back and leading the league in rushing and has nearly 1000 yards to date . . . so for me a RB with a blown knee coming back less than 9 months to lead the league is rushing is more of a comeback . . . i as far as I know PM is not leading the league in any catagory . . .

as for the MVP talk it makes me sick too . . . i think a lot of writeres are predisposed preseason and can't help but get excited about the 5-3 bronocs, even tho they were 7-4 with Tebow last year . . .

it will be one thing if down the road PM is leading the league in TDs, yards, low INTs, the broncos get the 1 seed, or combo of those . . . but as Tebow been to the rodeo of division title and playoffs, I think manning has to do a awful lot to be considered the MVP of the league . .. he can't just wandering into town go 11-5 and be handed the trophy . . .even if they go 12-4 . . .

peyton has MVP numbers but 5-3 with a team that tim tebow had in the playoffs last year dose not say MVP at lest not right now, my vote goes to matt ryan and he's 8-0 falcons

Movie? LOL is that you Joe Biden?:D

Okay, the play. Is that better?

Btw, If I were Joe Biden I wouldn't be here. I'd be in one of the 57 states campaigning.

For the most part, I completely agree with you. However, RB just isn't as "sexy" a position when considering CPOY when compared to quarterback. Double down that it's Manning and, statistically, he's having a very solid season, and you have a shoe-in, IMO.
