Actually I thought Chad played pretty solid in that PO game, the Pats o-line and defense just stepped up and played solid...300 passing yards and only one turnover isn't what I would call sucking.

Chad is a solid QB. He won't lose a lot of games for you but he also won't take you to the Superbowl.

Mangini was so full of class that he was trying to steal coaches and players away while still a Patriots employee. Then he tampered with Branch, a player under contract with the Patriots. i know this will probably fall on deaf ears as this thread has turned kind of silly, but it made me think of a conversation i had with my girlfriend last night. for background, she works for a consulting firm as is loaned out to clients. when she works for a cloient she works for them and everything she does is theirs.

I was explaining the BB-Mangini thing and I mentioned Mangini bringing Chad the book the Pats had on him. She flipped: "that's intellectual property. he has no right to that. even if he wrote every word in the book he has no right to it. that's stealing. did the Patriots press charges?"

first, i never knew she actually listened to me when i talk football. second, I just thought it hilarious that she could care less about any of the other stuff but intellectual property sucked her in.

yeah, its a pointless little story but i thought it was worthy of sharing.
