NY Daily News: Start Planning the Parade

I had an uneasy feeling a week prior to SB42. I could not put my finger on it. Not this time, for some reason, I am feeling good about this one. It is almost like the roles are totally reversed here, from 4 years ago, only the Giants are not anywhere near capable of being 18-0 (another story for another day). Please keep up arrogant ****y New York, please keep it up !!! This is music to my ears. !!!

Daily News sucks! Gary Myers has been trashing Eli from 2004 up to last week. I also don't believe in "bulletin board material". Its the Super Bowl. Are some of you telling me by making the players aware of this article the Patriots are going to work harder and play better? I don't this so.

And didn't the Patriots trademark 19-0?

You're contradicting yourself. They were overconfident in 2007 because they trademarked 18-1. They didn't play as hard as they should have.

Somehow, I think that the Patriot players, coaches, management and ownership have a lot of friends in NYC. My guess is that the link has been forwarded to Foxboro and elsewhere in the Boston area about a hundred times today.

Please by tomorrow, it wouldn't shock me if its not on all the national networks.

I agree the mental apect of the game is huge. It just doesnt come from bulletin board material. It comes from wanting to win the Super Bowl and all that comes with it. I have a hard time believing that anything else can make you more focused for this game.
Tell that to Justin Tuck.

The media down here has zero doubt that the Giants are going to win. In fact, I haven't seen so many fans of a team be so certain that their guys were going to prevail in a Super Bowl since I visited this board the week before SB XLII.

Sounds like an insufferable place to be for a Pats fan right now. It'll take a while for the feeling of overhype suffocation to set in down there.

Just a few days before the SB I felt like, 'ooofff please stop!! it's not true!! they were tuff to beat in week 17!! PATRIOTS vs g-ants WTF???' I'm sure it won't be that bad. The headline is promising.

If I were in NY, I would have purchased 53 copies of this myself and mailed it express mail to Foxborough. I'm not kidding. I don't care about the cost.

Sorry guys I'm going to keep bumping this thread up periodically until game day. I just want to make sure as many people as possible see it.

What else would you expect from NY trash ? All the New England Sewage does flow down south which they drink up as their NY/NJ koolaid.

Next he can print plan your parades for NY Gints for 2013, 14, 15... SB champions too, no matter who from AFC shows up.

Jeter just started giving these as gifts to his one-night-stands.

I hate new york teams, but man do i have respect for derek jeter. Top class guy, great player, and he gets a lot of women too :D

It wasn't anyone on the Giants organization saying it so I dont see how it can be motivational.

Excellent. Even more powerful than The Felger Curse. Only thing better would be the giANTs on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

True...I do believe however though it is a direct challenge from people (scumbags as they may be) that our team doesn't have what it takes to get it done Our team is being publically called out.

The more negativity the better, even from organizations like this...

you don't think Tom Menino announcing plans for the "2007 championship parade" didn't motivate the Giants?

Speaking of Menino, he better not this time....

The Giants parade should start at City Hall in Philadelphia, head up Market Street, onto the Schuykill Expressway, up I-95, past Jimmy Hoffa's grave, over the GW Bridge, down Fifth Avenue and up Mayor Bloomberg's butt!

Thank You, NY Daily News.
