McCourty is ridicouluos = Blame Brown, Delta O'Neal, Leigh Bodden, Al Arrington

Same with Meriweather or Maroney last years

The safeties suck, and McCourty's been terrible for the most part. It's a really bad combination.

Secondary's struggles are to be expected, especially with no pressure on the QB.

Come on Jay, McCourty has been terrible on the deep ball all year. He's been terrible pressing short. The only thing he's doing alright with is middle area zone.

That's true, he has been giving up completions but just in watching the way he has been playing he's so damn close to being a legit shutdown corner again. It's such minor stuff, and for people to just say blanket statements like he sucks or gets burned is just wrong. He can still run with anyone, he's right in position to make a play, but with safeties playing about as well as Stephen Hawking with him he has to play conservative. Having no trust in your teammates and being comsistently placed on an island will kill your confidence which really matters to a corner.

McCourty isn't playing well, that's obvious, but there's a lot more to it than he's incapable of doing his job.
