"Doesn't matter who Revis covers"-Brady + OT

Um, brady has more yards and more TDs this year so far, so does that make him "projected" to be the greats, GREAST ever?

I'm glad fools keep trying to hold brady down and never give him credit. Not in college, not in the nfl. First it was manning that was better, now its Rodgers. Brady is just going to keep playing with a chip on his shoulder, and keep being better than everyone.

I dont get whats so hard for people to admit. TOM BRADY IS THE BEST QB IN THE NFL. "Experts" and some fans need to stop being so bitter that a 6th round pick is better than everyone, and no one could have ever guessed. it.

Projecting 2, 3, or 4 games to 16 is stupid..

Projecting 2, 3, or 4 games to 16 is stupid..

I remember Bledsoe having 8 TDs after two games in 1997 (to 8 different receivers, no less). I remember the stupid articles..."he's on pace for 64 TDs!" Oy.

Regards,
Chris

The whole overrate Aaron Rodgers and make him the best player in the league right now because Manning's career, IMO is done and he won the previous superbowl is the reason I hate and can't stand the bug-eyed Aaron Rodgers.
Brady is out there playing his tail off and because of one game, due to his eagerness to break a record, he's second to Aaron Rodgers?!

Jeez, the way they are all over Tony Romo, I can only imagine what they'll be calling him if he manages to win a SB, I guess Brady will be ranked third or fourth after Brees. I can't stand these sports writers. This hating is ridiculous. You can't even imagine Aaron Rodgers ever having an undefeated season, throwing 50 Tds and carrying a defenseless team with rookie TEs and a Mossless offense to 14-2 record last year on what I believe was one of the toughest schedules pf that season. I mean what kind of joke is this?

Even now Brady is still having a better year than Rodgers, regardless of the Bills game and what the stats are saying.

All the teams Brady have played so far has better than average defenses. Sure Brady scored 30+ on em' but he's got the talent to make good Ds look bad.

Rodgers played New Orleans(The Defense is as about as bad as NE), Panthers(He didn't play as well as his stats portray, he played like ish until half way through the 3rd quarter), Chicago (questionable defense - last 3 offenses have scored a lot on them) Denver(the whole team sucks). He's putting numbers up on terrible teams, something Brady has done very well too, but doesn't get enough credit for.

However, the media is treating Rodgers like the greatest of all time and forgetting about Tom Brady. Even with the numbers Brady put up last year, he was still being slighted by Vick, Manning and Brees and none of them were even on or near his level. ESPN to slight Brady even further developed some BS QBR so that they could find more ways to rank Rodgers and others over Brady.

I hate Rodgers, Romo, Manning, the other Manning and Sanchez. I'm through venting for now. I'll probably be back here.

Rodgers is a great QB, but to say he has separated himself from Brady and Manning is absurd. At best, he is in conversation with them. He needs to play a few more years, win a bit more, maybe hit some record books before I am willing to consider it.

Please....
At this juncture, Jim Kelly could enter the picture. That son-of-a-censored accomplished more than Manning by virtue of FOUR straight visits to the promised land, and x-3 as many such visits as Brady.
So, let's also place Rodgers against the film of as many SB greats as there ever were... against Brady, Montana, Aikman, Bradshaw, Elway, etc. Not to mention the several one-timers and the many, many got-there-but-didn't-win-that-one-gamers. How does he wash? Just another very good QB, having another very good first 1/4 season.
Give it a rest, gentlemen, and let the season play out.

Re: Will Ochocinco have more receptions that Brady throws interceptions?

I know, I know, some people may have been saying this every week, but I have a gut feeling that this is the week we finally see the Ochocinco we were hoping for. Revis is almost definitely shadowing Welker... that leaves Cromartie to take on either Branch, who has been our #2 WR thus far, or Ochocinco, who has done very little statistically (but still usually gets double coverage). He's too good to stay dormant for long, and in this home game he could be a difference maker. I'm sure I sound crazy here but come Sunday I'll be crazy like a fox! :D (hopefully)

Re: Will Ochocinco have more receptions that Brady throws interceptions?

Chad had a couple of nice catches in the raider game. Not as good as Welker (who could be?) but at least he seems to be contributing. I think Chad will slowly contribute more every game. As it is now, teams may not expect him to get to many opportunities and he could make some nice yardage gains.

It seemed like the focus on the Raiders game was chewing up clock and getting the hell out of Oakland as healthy as possible for the Jets game, while also establishing an identity in the run game. Chad got four targets, the most he's had in any game this season, and I expect that number to rise this week.

Revis was actually covering Branch in the playoff game, with Welker getting double-teamed. If the Pats go 3 wide, it could be Ocho time.
