Rodgers is the flavor of the month. He's awesome but let's see him stick around for awhile before crowning him the GOAT.

I just find it funny they projected his stats 48 Td and 5300 yards but Brady will have 900 more yards and 4 TD's more more impressive year lol

Rodgers is a fantastic QB, but he is nowhere near as accomplished as Brady. He could be when it's all said and done, and he might very well be in the same level as Brady-Manning right now, but putting him ahead of those too is very premature.

And I'm probably the biggest Rodgers fan outside of Green-Bay.

So, Brady in one week is the best ever, then because he throws 4 picks with 3 of them not beeing completely his fault now Rodgers is the man?

What's wrong with noticing that Rogers is putting up the mega stats this season? Good for him and his fine supporting cast. Also, he's not a 90 day wonder. For those that missed it he earned a Lombardi last Feb. Earned it, not backed into it with a 22 QBR.

Rodgers is a great QB, but to say he has separated himself from Brady and Manning is absurd. At best, he is in conversation with them. He needs to play a few more years, win a bit more, maybe hit some record books before I am willing to consider it.

In order to 'separate' yourself from Brady (In my eyes) you'd have to do one of the following:

1) Sustain greatness for 10+ years

AND any one of

1) Win 3 SBs in a row
2) Win 4-5 SBs overall

Is Rodgers going to be the new Manning on this board due to Peyton's absense this year? The fact is Rodgers is the Superbowl MVP from last year and is playing out of his mind this year. ESPN is a what have you done for me lately taskmaster. We know Brady is going to dominate the regular season, and either he Brees, Rodgers, or some combination of 2 of the 3 of them will win MVP this year depending on who breaks what records and whose team has a better record. Anyways, point being, Rodgers plays in the NFC and is not in direct competition with us at the time being. Theres no reason for us to hate him just because he is currently on the same level as Brady (obviously not in terms of career resume)

Looks like Rodgers will have another Lombardi this January. He's on pace to be the best of all time...

And what happens if Rodgers gets sidelined by an injury?

and guess which team has the 2nd worst passing defense in the nfl? thats right...the packers..

right now, they are basically a mirror of the patriots...only difference is no one is harping on their pass defense because they are 4-0

FYI we did not win 3 in a row

3 in 4yrs

should be 4-5 if not for BS Phantom vs. Colt's in 06:mad:

You need to re-READ what xmarked400X wrote. And then think carefully before responding.

I of course give advice that I do not follow.

Who cares who some random person thinks is marginally better between Brady or Rodgers?

Rodgers is a great QB who dealt with some adversity early on and handled it a lot better than most of the egomaniac manchildrein the NFL would. Then he finally got his chance after scumbag Favre left and he made good on it.

Good for him. If you don't like Aaron Rodgers or find some joy in his success you're probably a bitter husk of a human.

Rodgers isn't on Manning or Brady's level yet, but he already surpassed Brett Favre IMO. Maybe not on career accomplishment, but on playing level for sure. He is a better game manager, he is just as good outside the pocket and he reads the play way better than Favre ever did.

Favre have always been an overrated gunslinger IMO and even though he cumulated alot of impressive stats, I never liked him that much. Rodgers on the other hand is my second favorite QB in the league, this guy deserves to wear #12 :)

On the Rogers foolishness, yes, he's very good but Brady and Manning have been stalking the NFL for better than a decade now, so Rogers has a long way to go before he even equals the achievements of those two gentlemen. This is football hyperbole at its very worst, the anointing of the next new guy without any real history behind it. In addition, he is leaving out the likes of Drew Brees and arguably Phillip Rivers, who need to be included in the ranks of the elite.

He is playing fantastic football. He might end up being better than Brady and Manning. Currently I'll say he is playing better than Brady but saying he is better than Brady is premature. Let's see what he does this year.

He has had three very good seasons.

I lost out on Brady on my fantasy team, but I ended up with Rogers. I want him to continue to play well. :D

I don't give a damn what this writer says. I want this team to win games. PERIOD. I don't care if Brady completes 10 passes for a 200 yards. All I want to see is another Patriot victory...and an improved defensive performance wouldn't hurt either. :p
