Re: Gabriel released, Patrick released, G. Scott and Phinisee signed to practice squa

I meant useless as a CB. He's basically useless. GAve up a big TD last week. No matter though, they would have lost anyway.

The season is done. Some teams are 8-5 and improving and some are 9-4 and deteriorating. It is better to be the former than the latter.

I just wish they could get some sweet draft picks. They need some dbs, a couple linebackers and a decent RB. Not a stud RB, just someone who can hit the hole hard. Denver got Mike Bell as an UDFA, it can't be that hard.

Re: Gabriel released, Patrick released, G. Scott and Phinisee signed to practice squa

Does this give us any insight into Watson being okay? Seems like they wouldn't release Gabriel if Watson was gonna be out for any significant time...

also seems to give insight that they think jackson is getting healthy and ready to come back. i hope this is true. i can't see them going with 4 wr's.

Re: Gabriel released, Patrick released, G. Scott and Phinisee signed to practice squa

If Kight sticks and Jackson is healthy then they have Caldwell, Jackson, Brown, Kight and Gaffney. So in terms of numbers they wouldn't need one. I'm not saying anything about quality.

I hope you're right on Chad being healthy.

Re: Gabriel released, Patrick released, G. Scott and Phinisee signed to practice squa

Rgar is the larger question..who they pick up...add...and I THINK...they will wait until later in the week. Why?? OIt will all depend on who is healthy who is not..if Wilfork isn't ready, maybe Thomas is added, if Watson is out, would they add another WR? Or another lineman to have one be a spot TE??
If Harrison is out more..maybe a guy like Sxott??

Um...in case you haven't noticed...Mike Bell stinks.

last week as in Miami game??he was playing nickel or dime..reports said his wrsit wasnt fully ready. Scott was the 1 getting torched and Hawkins gave up a TD. Hobbs is a 2nd year player..usually theresa thing called sophomore slump..and he hasnt been as terrible as u make him sound. hes had his ups and downs this year..injury..got beat a few times but samuel was getting beat last year and we wanted a #1 Cb and move samuel to nickel..well look what Samuel is doing now

How could you omit Bam Childress the saviour of the offense?
I read it here on PatsFans

Honestly I would much rather give Bam a shot than, say, Kight. But it's kind of like fighting over a Dime vs. Two Nickels I guess.

Re: Gabriel released, Patrick released, G. Scott and Phinisee signed to practice squa

Stupid move! What warranted the decision to release Gabriel? Gabriel is better than Caldwell, Brown, and Gaffney. The only reason why you guys may disagree is because he hardly saw the field. When he was on the field, Brady looked for him all the time and played ok. Then he fumbles one ball, loses the ball against the Jets and never sees the field again. So don't tell me it's a lack of grasping this complicated offense that McDaniels has installed (sarcastic). It has too be that he wasn't getting along with the Pats organization. Sometimes the Pats are so damn stubbern with their players they sit them for no reason. Look at Greg Spires, when he was with the Pats, Belicheck hardly played him. Then he goes to the Bucs, starts and plays really well winning a superbowl. Sucks for Tom Brady, another reciever gone.

He just wasn't tight.:D LOL, I think that's the real answer. Discipline, crisp routes =tightness.

Then why don't you just leave?

I wouldn't bother posting if I believed that.

The poster may well be the utter twit he seems to be but it is a valid opinion that the Pats are in decline. I don't agree but I'd still be an interested though frustrated fan if I did believe that.

Kelvin Kight was added to the roster. Don't know if he stuck.

He didn't say they were in decline, he said the seasons over.

They are 9-4. I know he's an utter twit troll who only posts when there is a negative vibe, But I say "if you think it's over, then go away".

When a movie's over I don't stay in the theater!

Re: Gabriel released, Patrick released, G. Scott and Phinisee signed to practice squa

any +ves here to see that we didnt watson go on IR today..something pats are expected to announce on tuesdays and if anything it forces to get the running game back on track which has been sacrificed IMO for the "development of the passing game"
not good news by any means ,kinda of miss miss off season now for BB with gabriel released but in the trademark BB way he accepted his mistake quickly (if in fact he thought itwas a mistake) and let him go rather than keep him to prove he made the the right decision on trading branch and getting gabriel, although i would love to ask him why marquise hill is here...
lets just hope we play some physical runnning game football like the steelers to keep us afloat.

But that's when you score on all the spilled popcorn and candy! If that isn't McBee's style I've sadly misread him, it, she, whatever. What is the proper designation for a Troll?

Re: Gabriel released, Patrick released, G. Scott and Phinisee signed to practice squa

Wouldn't be surprised if they cut Hobbs. He's basically useless.

Harrison on IR next.

No bigee, the season is pretty much done already. It's almost too bad they make the playoffs, as they can't get a top 20 pick.
You said you were leaving. Please don't toy with us, getting out hopes up just to dash them by staying.

Mods. Please ban this unamusing troll (send him back to Middle School).

They're 9-4. The worse they could be in 9-7, and they would have to try real hard not to make the playoffs.

Let's wait until they have an actual losing season before burying them.
