Rang/Rueter mocks

I've generally liked Reuter's scouting reports better - more thorough and balanced, less hype-laden. Definitely like his mock better.

Seems Rang finally pulled his head out of his...

I could definitely live with Watt and Watkins. Watt has the rare length, size, and athleticism that BB looks for in a 3-4 end. Watkins looks like a plug in starter at OL much like a Mankins or Vollmer.

If they took Watt while Smith was still available I'd be po'd.

Chances that the Pats draft an OLB in the 1st round are very low in any case so prepare to be pissed. It hasn't happened yet.

Some observations...

- There are 12 non-kicker positions to draft (QB, RB, WR, TE, OT, G/C, NT, DE, OLB, ILB, S, CB).
- Belichick has used 10 first round picks with the Pats...meaning that there are at least 2 positions that he couldn't possibly have taken.
- He has drafted 8 different positions in those 10 picks, not taking a QB, WR, OT and OLB yet.
- Belichick has taken a different position each of the last 5 picks.

Point is that the sample size is too small to draw definitive conclusions.
