Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

I need play by play y'all...

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

Is there anywhere online to watch Sportscenter?

(yes, I looked on ESPN's website and didn't see any obvious links)

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

Randy should thank Hannah Storm. She is articulate and frames questions very well, shows humor and understanding. Randy is playing right off her and showing himself in a good light.

Storm has been around since the early 80s. She knows how to do her job and the ESPN hacks could take a real lesson from her as to how to conduct an interview. She articulately explains both sides of the argument and then offers it up to the person she's interviewing.

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

Said he needed to get it off his chest, instead of letting it go until Week 12 or 13. He admitted that it might have been bad timing.

He won't get into the conversation, except to say that BB told him to be careful about talking to the media.

Talking about coming with "baggage".

She's quite brilliant. In fact, I believe the ESPN movie tonight is either, written, produced or directed by Hannah Storm. Very classy, professional and articulate.

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

My notes:

“The timing could have been better,” but wanted to get it off chest Sunday (so wouldn’t become dsitraction later)

Showing the locker room video after the game; good stuff. Nice laugh from Randy watching.

Does understand the perception of his timing, but coaches and teammates hopefully didn’t take it as disrespectful manner. First and last time you’ll hear me talk about contract. Just wanted to get something off chest.

Any coach or any owner would want a guy like me on their team. I love playing football and all the extracirricular stuff off the field I don’t care too much about. Hopefully my teammates and coaches like me being part of their team because I know I do.

Keeping BB chat private, but BB told him he has to watch what he says or what he does.

Wasn’t talking about anybody specific Sunday. ALl of the good that ahs come out of NE, I don’t think the people who don’tlike NE don’t want to hear the good that ha gone on in NE. I came with a lot of baggage, tried to straighten up, have a clean slate, been doing a good job of that.

Question about contract: Has not talked with team. Well, now he’s plugging Capitol One.

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

randy being very positive here -- not a bad interview at all

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

Good job Randy now finish up quickly...

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

Emphasizing that he does not want to leave New England.

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

He said that Belichick told him that he needs to watch what he says and what he does, this is from their sit down.

He replied, "Yes sir."

He is being very respectful. He also reiterated that he doesn't want to play anywhere else next year other than NE.

C'mon Kraft! Get him signed now!

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

So maybe he DOESN'T need to be institutionalized like all the knee jerk pessimists were saying Sunday.

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

"Let me say this again, I do not want to leave New England cuz I love what they do here. I love Coach Belichick, I love the team, I love the coaching staff and I love playing here on Sundays, but from a business standpoint I have to look out for the best interest of me and my family. So, uh, next year, I don't know where I'll be playing at. Hopefully it's here in New England."

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

Totally professional, articulate and well reasoned appearance by Randy.

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

His head is screwed on very straight. No worries. He just vocalized the business side of football...giving food for thought to all the check writers. I see a guy working hard for his next contract...that's a good thing.

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

I like what I'm hearing from him so far...good job Randy:)

Thank you!! Much much appreciated!!

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

"The slouch will be there to see you Sunday." LOVE IT!

This was his comment about the Jets calling him a slouch.

Great interview, looks like he took BB's advice to heart.

Addressing the slouch comment by Revis, "he'll have 60 minutes of this slouch"

Re: Moss on Espn live at 11.30

Greetings,
Says he want to open a CapitalOne bank online. He said Brady getting the contract had nothing to do with it and Brady deserved that contract. He gave him credit where credit was due. Said there is no other team he has thought about playing for and that he does not want to leave New England and if he leaves it is on a business standpoint for his family. He also has no idea why they have not had any negotiations yet.

On Darelle Revis comments, he said they did not hurt him, they are just words. He said Revis will have to deal with this "Slouch" for 60 minutes on Sunday.

Peace,
Celticboy04
