Is Tom Brady angry?

I doubt it.. he has not been caught red-handed with a meter, as far as I know. Unless you're talking about a parking meter- then a good case could be made.

:)

Playing along though...
Urban Dictionary:
A person (typically male) who takes pride in his appearance, dresses impeccably, goes for facials, expensive hair cuts and things of that nature. They are often assumed to be gay.

Brady is out west with kid #1 if I remember correctly. He's either a bad player or a bad dad.. can't win. That's what you get for being Tom Brady.

But no one here cares about that; Tom's kid doesn't win us SBs.

I don't question hisv resolve to the team, if you do you need to get your head examined. Any dad can tell you that come Friday, they look forward to being with their kid(s) on the weekend. Fact of the matter is it's Tom's offtime from work, and he rarely gets to see his kid during the year so cut Him some slack for trying to be a good dad.

Why hasn't anyone raised the possibility that maybe, just maybe, Brady is still healing from his injuries? People questioning his commitment to football should recall that he was still slinging the ball with a broken finger, broken ribs and possibly an injured shoulder this past season.

Another emo thread. Time to hand out some Happy Meals before someone gets hurt...

Yet more evidence of why this forum is going down-hill.

The number of morons outweighs the thoughtful and sensible guys by about 10-1. And it's getting worse.

Wow. The panic button pushing strewn across this site is just depressing. All sorts of threads like this just become a mix of true panic like the OP and then generous satire about the panic of the OP.

I've got to believe that between the draft, draft day trades, and cuts from other teams, this Pats team is still far from final shape. I think we'll see more economically driven player cuts coming from other teams as we get closer to the season and that the Pats will be in a good position to scoop up some good players without having to pay the kind of money Peppers got.

This thread is epic. Seriously, simply amazing. One bad year and suddenly all is wrong with the team dynamic.

Calling a division champs season a "bad year" shows even further lack of perspective.

Tom will earn a salary this season of only $3,500,000, after a recent $3 million roster bonus. It is the last $3.5 million owed to him under his current contract. Tom has lost his best wide receiver, Wes Welker, and the Patriots have made no attempts to find a replacement in free agency. This only a year after letting Jabar Gaffney leave without a proper replacement.

Anquan Boldin wants you to know that he actually DID receive a contract offer from the Patriots. He just got a better one from the Ravens. Welker also wants to let you know that his contract is still in force and that he'll be back sooner than later.

Brady's top two tight ends have been let go as well, again without replacement.
At this point the team will most likely try to find Brady's receivers and/or tight ends with rookies, through the draft. This all in a uncapped year. ( If the Patriot adjusted cap from 2009 was still in place, the Patriots would be $21 million dollars below it. )

Chris Baker was released because he decided that he didn't have to actually work during the season. Watson's contract was up and he decided that he wanted a change of scenery.

The Pats DID make an offer to Daniel Fells, but he decided to return to St. Louis, the team he was with last year.

Is it possible that Tom Brady's absence at the opening of offseason workouts today was a message to management? A message that, if the front office won't make a commitment to the team, or to Brady, then he won't either?

This is DUMBNESS. The Pats have made PLENTY of commitments to the team. Why is it that people like yourself always think the worst because a player wants to spent time with his kids?

How the heck is anyone here or in the media supposed to know for real and quite honestly, who cares? A pretty weak FA period is pretty much done and the Pats are heading into what is being called a very deep draft with a butt-load of high-end picks. IMO the Pats are in real good shape to fill some holes using those picks or making some trades. When all of that dust settles, then I think Brady gets extended to a lucrative deal. Why all the negativity?

Exactly. What is wrong with people on this forum? Is there something in the water? An airborne virus? It's March. There are no games on the schedule this month. The whiners must be a bunch of lacrosse fans confused about when the season starts.

Speaking of which, his last contract extension was signed in May, not March (or February).

I am not angry! Why does everyone keep saying I'm angry!?!?!?!? I AM NOT ANGRY!!!!!!

Wow. There have been some whoppers thrown around here lately but this one has to get some kind of award.

Let me sort out the flow here:
1) Welker is healthy and a key part of the Pats attack
2) Belichick drafts a guy with a similar skill set
3) Welker suffers multiple injuries
4) Edelman steps in and is reasonably successful in the Welker role

It doesn't count when they're already on your team

Belichick drafts a reasonable (though not equal in talent or production) backup for Welker in the 7th FREAKIN' ROUND...getting him some reps BEFORE Welker even got hurt. And you say that it doesn't count because Belichick didn't wait until AFTER Welker got hurt and then overpay to find a replacement in free agency for the NEXT season. Do you have an automated "Belichick Hate Post" assigned to one of your function keys or did you actually apply some level of thought and reason before you posted?

who cares.....the guys been around long enough......

maybe the FO should draft players that don't need the vets around to wipe their tushies when they go poopie

You are offering maturity advice?

It is certainly true that from 2000 to 2006, TB was in the weight room at 6:00:01 everyday in the off-season.

It is also certainly true that in 2007, 2008 and 2009, he did not attent every single off-season workout session. Ironically enough, he enjoyed his top two greatest statistical seasons.

Based on this evidence, as it realtes to TB, there is no correlation between TB having perfect attendance at the off-season training program and having a great year.

As being a leader and demonstrating committment to the program and the team, for those chicken littles that want to say TB MIGHT be a little disengenuous, I would think that TB's accomplishments, return from a critical injury and playing through brutal injuries last year should squash ANY speculation that he is not committed to the organization and the team.
