Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

I called that pick six.

Granted I said Darren Sharper would do it, but hey it's the same outcome. :D

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

Yeah, he only put up 17 points against the 26th ranked pass defense.

Not his fault.

And threw a pick 6 during the biggest drive of the game.

But hey, not his fault.

I totally agree. This should put the "Manning is the greatest ever" talkers at bay and bring back the Manning Apologists.

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

Giving up on a shot at going undefeated to rest your starters for the post season.

FAIL.

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

I really don't think Manning was to blame for this. I thought he played pretty well. The interception was a slip by Wayne. Wayne was also guilty of other mis-plays. I think the Saints playcallers were the real MVP.

No it wasn't. The Colts receivers only ran three routes all night: the hitch, the slant, and the crossing route. I sat here myself (drinking of course) and wondered whenb the Saints' defense was going to figure that out. They finally did and Porter just jumped the route. That was a perfect jump.

i said the score was going to be 34-27 Saints but Peyton didn't live up to his end, only leading his team to 17 points. I knew 1 turnover would decide this thing.

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

I am soooo happy...I would have won an extra 400 bucks on Indy than I did on the Saints but Ive never been so happy to lose 400 in my life. Aside from the Pats wins this is the best NFL moment Ive witnesses and for Frankenhead to lose it that way is sooo sweet...

Celebrate good times :D

Brady also put only 17 points against the giants. The colts running game didn't do anything to help manning.

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

AHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA
what an amazing end to this season! ahahahhahahahaha

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

Makes 2006 an 07 more bitter, but this is a nice way to swallow it....Peyton no Brady or Montana in the big game shove it media whores...

What? The Colts rushed for over 100 yards. Maybe you shouldn't post after you've been drinking.

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

IndyStar.com right now has a great ManningFace on the front page.

Exactly! Glad someone watched the same game I did.

Looks like the Saints had Goober set up, Wayne had a bad game too.

In the 2nd half?

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

Goober ran away without shaking hands classy perhaps !

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

Wonder if Polian still thinks trading 16-0 for nothing was worth it...

Why not?

Obviously, the Colts were a team that couldn't handle the added pressure.

And the last choke was Reggie Wayne's, not Peyton Manning's.

They had 99 yards on 19 carries.

PS This is my 3000th post. Yay! :D

Re: Official Peyton Manning choke thread

Manning really choked that away. He was looking that way, and the CB jumped the route easily. It wasn't even close. A terrible pick to throw there. So much for being such a clutch QB.:bricks:

The Saints were 26th against the pass b/c their corners and DL were injured throughout much of the year - by playoff time, Porter, Greer, and other members of their DL got healthy, and Malcolm Jenkins got experience.

BTW - when we played them in wk15 - they had a bunch of guys injured on both sides of the ball.
