Re: AD "I'm not a kindergartener"

Does this guy ever shut up?!

Re: AD "I'm not a kindergartener"

well......I am dumbfounded as to why BB started the season with AD as the only OLB to have ever proven a thing.

Re: AD talks, says he called in advance that he would be late

Umm, since their last playoff game there's only been one set of playoff games that they could have played in, and they only missed out on that because of tiebreakers (as happened the last time they failed to make the playoffs).
I laughed out loud when I read that. Almost 2 years! What a drought! The horror...

Well, so much for the "he could have called" argument that so many were using yesterday. Time to move the goalposts.

He's right about the fact that he can't fly because he certainly can't fly to the ball either...What does he have like 30 tackles in 12 games?...How pathetic is that??,I think even Patrick friggin Chung has more tackles on this team

This guy really needs to be released,He isn't doing anything anyway and besides its no secret that he and probably Burgess both dislike this head coach.

Ted Johnson talked about being late once in his career with Belichick. He knew what his options and consequences would be. He chose to miss the entire meeting rather than walk in in front of his teamates and HC and never even considered making the call that he could have avoided had he left earlier... Cost him $5K and he was down with that. But that was in another day and time and on another team unlike the one AD thinks he signed onto.

Somebody should have asked AD how many times he's called and just been fined...

Felger kept playing the clip from the postgame locker room after the first Miami game yesterday. Belichick congratulated them on a hard fought game and warned them there were more to come including Indy next and therefore they would be in tomorrow...You could hear a chorus of groans in the background, so he reiterated we will be in tomorrow - last week was your week off...

Felger's issue with the clip was he couldn't imagine that scenario happening a couple of seasons ago. Said it was antithetical to everything this team has stood for in the Belichick years. And he was right.

LOL !!!!!!!!! (actually, I'd say Vince is a Chief, but nobody else yet)

why would vince put himself out there? the organization is dragging its feet on extending him. if I was wilfork, I would be playing for wilfork until they extended me. extend me, and I would do all kinds of things for the team. but they're obvioulsy going to franchise him, so why should he sweat it any more than any other player? nothing for nothing

well....how many of the players on the defense have only been here the last 2 years?

to them, this is not a playoff team

well....he's right, the coaches are not only calling the plays that lead to failure, but THE coach also staffed the defense for failure

and he himself is part of the staff. As BB told Ad once during practice sarcastically "We throw the Brinks truck at you and you cant make a play ?" or something like that

well....its hard to make tackles when you get benched.....not sticking up for him, but I do believe there is alot of reaping what the front office has sown going on right now. you want to blame the players? fine.....but it was BB who fielded a team in week 1 with AD as the only OLB to have ever proven anything remotely resembling a starter

Actually, when I said that I wasn't moving goalposts, I assumed he hadn't.

Whatever the case, Sunday will be interesting.

that might work except that look at the stiffs that back up AD

Re: AD talks, says he called in advance that he would be late

fact is, the team is not what it used to be. it does not have the veteran leadership it used to in order to keep order in the clubhouse. why? because BB made it that way.

it doesn't matter why they didn't make the playoffs.....it all starts and stops with the fact that they didn't.all of their veteran leadership either retired, got disposed of, or got traded in what I still think was a good deal (for seymour)

the pats could have really used vrabel.

They don't have it because life goes on and new guys who should have stepped up have failed to. Vrabel isn't dealing with losing all that well in KC where they were willing to overpay him for his remaining skills just to be a clubhouse leader and help install the same system which Pioli championed in his years here, too, and chose to employee in his first solo gig. RAC had the same thing happen to him when he paid Willie to lead the way in Cleveland. So far the only guy who's been successfully implementing it is Josh, and he was being mocked and ridiculed for his foolhardy attempts to back in August...

iam not absolving BB for the mistakes this season.dont get me wrong. But AD could just shut up and earn his millions by being on time and being a good soldier when he is earning a paycheck from the same team which expects a lot of him thats all.

what new guys should have stepped up at OLB? as parcells has said in the past, 'they are what they are' nobody at OLB had ever shown signs of life before so I really don't see how anyone could assume they would step in and step up like the pats would need them to

i think the same. BB tried to establish new leaders in mayo and co andit hasnt worked and maybe has rubbed some of the seniors the wrongway.
When BB came here, mcginest ,bru etc all grew into the role.BB cultivated the habit of having his captains police the locker room and meeting with the captains every week.Right now his choice of team leaders has let him down. Mcdaniels did the smart thing with getting dawkins.
This whole thing could go either way. It could tank our season or galvanize brady and co.

Taking everything into account--the hype before he got here, his contract, expectations, how his failing to live up to expectations is killing the team--Thomas might be my least favorite Patriot ever.

You can seriously defend him again today, can you?
