These extensions will likely reduce cap hits, though. Maybe moving bonuses into next year or whatever.

Alexander has not been released. I don't know what you mean about "you keep that he was released" because I haven't seen that at all. Only TBC, Galloway, and Matthews have been released.
With contract extensions. OK, so that makes more sense. Obviously, though... these are going to be money saving moves. So not every cut we're seeing is permanent.
Wierd, talk about your low level priorities. The Patriots have 3 Probowlers that are pending free agents (Wilfork, Mankins and Ghost). Ghost and Mankins may be RFAs (if there is not CBA).
