Re: Brady on Entertainment Tonight "Nothing will stop me from being what I was before

Said he plans to play until he is FORTY!!!!

Hopefully, that will end the talk of Cassel taking a discount to succeed Brady ala Steve Young succeeding Montana.

Somewhere, Kevin O'Connell just thought, "Well, Sh$t."

Although I'm sure the Pats and Tom like to avoid ESPN as much as possible this has to do more with the CBS angle. Same as All-access moving from an abc station (wcvb) to a cbs affiliate (wbz). There is a reason CBS scene is located at Patriot Place.

:agree:

It's cool that ESPN's outta the loop! One of the CBS move's perks:singing:

Seriously. It's got to be tough being behind a player like TFB. He's got too much work ethic, dedication, love of the game etcetc to stay down for long:rocker:

Re: Brady on Entertainment Tonight "Nothing will stop me from being what I was before

Also said he will be back in May hopefully.

When I heard that I didn't take it as he hoped to be back in may I took it as he can't wait to get back to work in may (mini-camps). Seemed to me like he would be ready prior to May and would be waiting for the mini-camps to get back at it.

New England Quarterback Tom Brady Opens Up About His Knee Surgery, Recovery - wbztv.com

Don't know if this was aired yet or not but Brady was on Entertainment tonight regarding his commercial gig and had some encouraging words to say about what type of QB he will return as - I think most of us know he is the toughest S.O.B. QB in the NFL and I would expect no less than 100% Brady in 2009.

He does look a bit thin in the face probably lost a few pounds during the past 4 months

I'll have none of it!!!! He must be traded to make room for the greatest QB to ever play the game, Matt Cassel!!!!

He actually looked like he dropped a bit of weight before the injury. I remember thinking he looked a lot thinner in the preseason interviews I saw him in. That says a lot coming from someone as oblivious to their surroundings as I am.
