New England Quarterback Tom Brady Opens Up About His Knee Surgery, Recovery - wbztv.com

Don't know if this was aired yet or not but Brady was on Entertainment tonight regarding his commercial gig and had some encouraging words to say about what type of QB he will return as - I think most of us know he is the toughest S.O.B. QB in the NFL and I would expect no less than 100% Brady in 2009.

He does look a bit thin in the face probably lost a few pounds during the past 4 months

Oh God. Words that make a Patriot fan put a big :D on and words that make other teams and fans go :(

Some great news to start the offseason. I already cannot wait for the next season. Take your time, Tommy. We'll still be here when you get back!

Re: Brady on Entertainment Tonight "Nothing will stop me from being what I was before

But I thought that he'd lost the desire to play and was going to retire by 34 and move to Hollywood and get a jump start on his acting career???

(I wish I was making this up, but some people actually think it).

Definitely reassuring to hear, but I'm not exactly surprised that that's his mentality. It seems to pretty much be his outlook on everything, yeah?

Are you talking about a certain someone or just half the board in general?

Two "SPECIFIC" people come to mind, but I won't name any names. :gossip:

Another day, another positive story about Tom, His knee and next season.

Can we please trash the Trade Brady Thread now?

It's beginning to be more and more irrelevant and too that end it gives other fans the opportunity to talk about our fan base in a negative light (not that they won't any way) when they read a "Trade Brady" thread that has over 1000 posts and 20k views on our site.

"Nothing will stop me from being what I was before"

That's what I like to hear!

I'm happy Brady has chosen to avoid ESPN and our biggest quotes/stories are coming from Canadian radio and Entertainment Tonight.

Re: Brady on Entertainment Tonight "Nothing will stop me from being what I was before

Is anyone really suprised by this?

Brady and BB may be two of the most driven individuals I have ever seen.

Although I'm sure the Pats and Tom like to avoid ESPN as much as possible this has to do more with the CBS angle. Same as All-access moving from an abc station (wcvb) to a cbs affiliate (wbz). There is a reason CBS scene is located at Patriot Place.

Only two? Even that's a little on the conservative side, hahahaha.

Oh, you know it.

They have GOT to be going NUTS that they can't get an interview during the week of the Super Bowl with a 3 Time Champion and 2 Time MVP.

I love it.

He has the right attitude, but I'm holding my breath until that first game.

All I have to say to Tom is this: George Blanda

Re: Brady on Entertainment Tonight "Nothing will stop me from being what I was before

What's he doing making commercials. He should be working out 24/7. He's not committed to football anymore.

Hey if Favre and Testaverde can play until they're 40 so can TB. He's got plenty more hardware to collect.
