NFL Network, MLB Network, etc.

I don't watch any BSPN studio shows, just live sports. Their 30 for 30 series was great, though. If I want specific highlights, I can get them on the internet pretty easily.

For me, a UConn alum, they also have bashed the basketball program pretty good. After Spygate, I was frustrated but would watch Sportscenter-U on ESPNU, after the UConn stuff, I was done for good.

NFLN or online. The only time I will turn on to FESPN is when they are showing the Patriots play live. Otherwise, they ain't getting a minute of my viewing time. Gameday I will watch Fox and/or CBS, and also check in on PatsFans for the latest updates.

To be honest, you can get a LOT of great Pats news between their official site, and the daily news summaries that Ian posts here.

There's nothing wrong with ESPN that's not a problem with just about every other media outlet in the country. Watch what you wish. ESPN has some good on-air talent.

ESPN is the lazy sports fans way to get their sports fix ... it's entertainment of some sort - not a sort that I prefer and I do not watch unless it's a game or I will watch their news channel where you get the post game interviews.

My pleasure. And just remember that some of the same people who bash ESPN spend their radio time listening to 98.5, who are far more "anti-Patriots" (at least from 2-6) than ESPN is, even though that station carries the games locally.

98.5-is it in boston? i am currently in so-cal and only shows i listen to on radio are cowherd (because he loves brady ) and Stephen A. Smith show. The LA area ESPN radio channel is soon going to broadcast all Chargers as well as Jests games this season .
Any one know of any sports radio apps where someone like me can listen to boston sports radio?

If you have iTunes, both WEEI and 98.5 are available. Also, the radio.com and Yahoo Radio apps both carry 98.5. WEEI has their own app with available streaming.

Weei online radio player:

WEEI - 850AM

98.5 online radio player:

Radio.com

WFAN online radio player, for when WEEI and 98.5 are both sucking (which happens quite a bit, unfortunately, and more since WEEI stupidly changed its lineup). It's NY radio, but you can sometimes hear good sports talk and good interviews:

Radio.com
