Default How bad of a deal is this?

This is being offered by Visa as a perk to some of their cardholders. It seems to me like it's way overpriced.

Thoughts?

So they are essentially charging what, about $200 per person for the pregame food and beverages?

No, not a very good deal.

The deal seems excessive as.......
300 level tickets: $65.00-$89.00 dependent on the row
Pre-game Tailgate -price unknown
Game Day Magazine - $10.00-$15.00
2 Hats ($25.00 each) $50.00

So your at $243.00 (with the higher price ticket and without knowing the party cost). Add parking at $40.00 and your much better off buying tickets on your own and tailgating with hundreds of others.

It isn't horrible at $330 per person.

300 Section seats - $100 each
Tailgaiting party - $160 (based on Fred Smerlas' All Pro Celebrity Tailgating party price)
Gameday Magazine - $15
Hat - $25

Total: $300 per person ala cart

So it costs you about $30 more per person than if you bought everything separate assuming you can find seats. If you can, you are better off buying the tickets yourself and going to Smerlas' tailgating party:

ALL Pro Celebrity Tailgate Party

Those are the key words right there.

I'd rather get a couple of SRO tickets and save a few bucks.

My father and I spend less than $660 for gas (from Connecticut), parking, tailgate (between the two of us, we already have the equipment), and seats in the 100s. Not a great deal Visa's offering, if you ask me.

This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”
