Default Wow - Giants Defeat Tigers to Win World Series.

All I can say is wow ... did anyone give the Giants a chance?

Good for them ... nice to see the underdog win when your dog is home for the fight.

also, how do you get 'underdog'?

giants were 94-68 this year, tigers were 88-74 (same record as the st louis cards)

cards and tigers were the two worst w/l teams in the playoffs

Because I saw lots of these before the series:

ESPN people 22/27 picked Tigers and @ 70% of an ESPN poll picked Tigers.

the long lay off after sweeping the stinkies killed the tigers just like it killed the rockies in 07.
