after the way the last week has gone. The Sox were on a roll, the second best record in baseball, had taken three from the Tigers and set to sweep when the roof caves in, blown save, lost game. Since then, they are 1-5, losers of 6 of the last seven altogether.

Losing to the Tigers, no big deal, losing 3 of 4 to Minnesota is iffy (they give the Red Sox fits everytime we play them inside that hefty bag they call a stadium), but to get swept by the Orioles!?
