Their last title was 1983, when they beat the Royals in the World Series and that douchebag Tug McGraw was on the mound for the last out.

The Phillies ended the drought last year and I hope they repeat this year; they are a real team, not a pack of frauds like the Twins (explain to me how that rinky dink fvcking team gets into the playoffs what seems like every year only to go down in flames) or the Angels, both of which sh!t their pants facing the mighty 200+ million Yankees.

There are going to be a lot of pissed of pizza delivery men in New York tomorrow named Sal or Guido, so stay away from pizza pies tomorrow you ballbag New Yorkers.

I think the Yankees need A-Rod or Damon to hit to have a chance. A-Rod because he can crush mistake pitches and Damon because of his unorthodox hitting style which unhinges pitchers at times.

Hard to call a game crucial but Martinez vs Burnett ... Pedro will be ready but will the nervy Burnett be ready to counter in his house. Pedro can conquer the ghost of Daddy ... oh the drama is huge. He's got to know Red Sox nation is way behind him.

I know I'm late in making my prediction but ill make it now anyways the same way it was before todays game which was phillies 4-2. I've actually been telling a friend of mine since the cliff lee trade that the phillies would repeat. My friend happens to be a yankees fan who thought this year was gona be handed to the yanks on a platter and today he called me after the game to say "oh no, we suck again!" Haha he was trying to make it sound like it did on the waterboy but the point is he just realized the guy they have been able to lean on, sabathia just lost game one cuz he was outpitched by lee. Burnett is so unconsistant and pedro hasn't pitched against a lineup like this yet so I don't know what to expect in game 2 but I'm rooting for pedro, not just for my hate of the yanks but it would be nice to see pedro get one more ring before he's done.
