A true die hard would never root for the Yankee's in any playoff situation.

I question your Sox loyalty

why do you hate LAA? We have dominated them this decade.

NYY are to be hated no matter what team they play in the playoffs.

1st rule of being a Red Sox Fan..... never cheer for the yankees
2nd rule of being a Red Sox Fan never cheer for the yankees
3rd rule of being a Red Sox fan..... you never want the Yankee's to succeed in any circumstance of the playoffs.

need I go on?

This isn't really much different than people who root more for America to fail than for Obama to succeed. How on earth you can root for the evil empire because Scioscia has "beady eyes" is beyond comprehension.

Ridiculous logic.

Please keep that in the Political forum. There is no room in the sports forums for that garbage.

As for the OP and the thread... Jesus Christ. I'd rather stick hot needles in my eyes than root for that piece of **** team. Please send all of your Red Sox equipment to my address since you'll no longer need it. I'll be PMing you with the information.

You're just annoyed we lost to the Angels; that said, how the fvck can you root for the Yankees?

Having watched this team in the playoffs now for 5 games, I hate this version of the Yankees more than any other Yankee team in history, and that's saying something.

The announcer ballwashing and the crowd shots of their ex prison member, living in their mothers basements, buzz cut wearing, hook nosed, no chin, yellow toothed ballbag fans is beyond annoying.

From that fat slob CC to that headhunting douchebag Chamberlain to "Captain Intangibles" to thay annoying lipstick wearing metrosexual Payfraud to that horsefaced, pianotoothed piece of garbage Teshata to that Sociopath Burnett to that turncoat ballbag Damon to that Shemp Howard look alike DH of theirs, I hate this fvcking team.

If you could measure my hate with people, It would be China.................

I don't have to dislike a team because the status quo tells me that's what I should think.

You can either not care who wins, want one or the other , or you dislike one more than the other.

This is a great Yankee team and it's hard to not see that.

The best 2 teams in the American league are playing IMO

It's not the Yankees fault that it is not us vs them right now - we had our chance.

I seriously hate the Angels and I can't like them because I'm supposed to hate the Yankees.

Carry on sheeple ... but everyone is entitled to their opinion and right now I want the Yankees. In the World Series it may be a different story. If it's Angels vs ? I'm going Phillies or Dodgers. If it's the Yankees vs Phillies I'm going Phillies and if it's Dodgers vs Yankees screw Manny and go Yankees. Just because it's not the Red Sox well so what, not my fault.

I don't like the Yankee's but they're a great team and I really hate Scioscia and the Angels ... can't help it and I'm just being honest. I don't like Joba either but I can look past him. If the Yankees win it all it won't be due to luck and let's face it - it's not my call who wins it all.

I wouldn't mind seeing Pedro beat the Yankees in the World Series however.

Phillies are my 1st choice and Yankees the 2nd choice
... that's it but I'm thinking Yankee's win it all and like I said it's not my call anyways.
