I'm more confident than ever this game will not be that close.
I was clicking though the channels and stop just at the moment he said that. Hes purposely trying to be a douche to stir the pot. If he really thinks the ravens will win he could have said so in a much more subtle less inflammitory way.

Most of what Felger says and does boils down to intentional pot-stirring to generate controversy, argument, discussion and attention ... like, this thread.

Is it really a stretch to think Balt. could win?

Baltimore already beat NE
Balt. deep ball strength is NE's greatest weakness (note Balt, Seat, and SF games)
Brady has had poor outings vs Balt D with Brady chucking that one head scratching pick each of those games
NE missing 2 of their top 6 play makers

Is it a requirement that all NE media drink the koolaid? No worries koolaid drinkers, Wiggy will be on in a day or two to provide you with stellar pro home team analysis and your worlds will be righted

The ravens could beat NE but knowing felgers history its more about ratings and $ then what he really believes.

Translation:

Stop picking on Felger just because he says the same stupid things on the radio that "borg" posts on patsfans.com

ESPN football analyst Mark Schlereth: Patriots win. I think that Patriots offense can just about outscore everybody. I think they’ll outscore the Baltimore Ravens in this game.

* ESPN football analyst Jerry Rice: Patriots win. I think with Tom Brady they’re going to utilize the no-huddle offense and wear down the old guys on that Ravens defense.

* ESPN First Take analyst Jamele Hill: Patriots 35, Ravens 31. Bottom line, offensively, I just don’t think Baltimore can do it. I think this is going to be a close game. I don’t think New England will cover but I do think the Patriots will win the game. New Engand’s offense is going to be able to keep Baltimore’s defense on the field way too long.

* ESPN First Take analyst Skip Bayless: Patriots 30, Ravens 14. This ain’t going to be close. Apologies to my frenemy Terrell Suggs. He’s about to graduate on Sunday in Foxborough from Fall So Hard University. And his profewssor is going to be one Thomas Edward Patrick Brady. … (Suggs) will be no factor in this game. This game will be completely different from that one in Foxborugh two years ago.

* ESPN experts: Seven of the eight experts pick the Patriots. Only Seth Wickersham picks the Ravens.

* AccuScore simulations: Patriots 28, Ravens 21 (average of more than 10,000 simulations). Click HERE to simulate the game yourself.

* Matt Williamson, Scouts Inc. (Insider): Patriots 30, Ravens 17.

1) Woody is expected to play vs. Baltimore and no one knows yet how Chandler 's ankle is so we don't know if both will play or not ...yet.

2) Because Flacco has been a bit on a roll lately, all of a sudden they have great deep ball strength? (unless you are referring to their secondary which is missing Webb from the week 3 game)....The Broncos D was severely overrated and I was not surprised and it was clear that Bailey has lot more than a step.

Baltimore can most assuredly win this game. I expect a war, and I expect Ray Lewis to leave nothing on the field to win this game. Someone already posted as Baltimore being desperate. I agree.

While the Ravens defensive scheme and personnel has given much more trouble to Brady over the years than what we just faced this past season, the overall talent of Baltimore is not that different from Houston. The notion that Houston was a bunch of scrubs and Baltimore is leagues better is just not true. Both are good, both are beatable, both we should handle when we bring our A game.

Brady looked pretty decent going against them this year.
