Brady had an awesome game - despite a few misfires along the way.

Schaub looks barenaked once you takeaway a dominant running game - the dude has not proved he is elite - not close.

Great game from Lloyd also.

True Story!!

JJ Watt had many fans in last year's Draft, but none more frothing, raging, or ravenous than I!!

Forgive a Brother an annoying self-congratulatory moment, Gents: But I was BELLOWING for us to get this kid...and I feel a particular Pride in his astonishing Excellence!!

Here's hoping for a long and lustrous career for Brother JJ!!

1) I can't remember a week when we've had a more consistently knowledgeable and polite set of opposition posters. You're welcome back anytime.

2) Justin James Watt rocks! I saw BB talking to him after the game...I can only imagine how much he'd love to coach him and have him on the team.

3) The Pats knocked the Texans on their heels early; if I'm a Texans fan, I'll hope my guys learn from that. When the lights are bright and the stage is big, you can't let that happen.

4) Matt Schaub? "Meh"...great stats and Pass Rating...but I didn't see in him whatever it is that sets the best apart from the rest...at least not yet.

5) I really don't want to play these guys again...bad memories from a few years back of our December blowout of the Jets and what happened in the playoffs.

Anything can happen on any given night.

We'll be worrying about the Texans plenty in a few weeks again.

Yes on 1, 2, 3 and especially 5. I really don't want to play the Texans again, especially in Houston - they will learn from this game, and the next time will be much, much harder. Though we'll have Gronk then.

As for Schaub, I wouldn't judge him too much on this game. First, this game just shows how elite Brady is. The Texans have destroyed just about everyone except for Brady and Rodgers. Those were the 2 guys who were good enough to handle their defense. Brady's quick release, ability to change the tempo of the game, and processing ability to read the defense were all key. He didn't get flustered. He was on fire, at his competitive best.

Schaub isn't Brady by a long shot, but few QBs are at that level. He's more than capable of being a SB-winning QB. He'll learn from this, and he's a smart guy. Not a dominant QB, but he's much, much better than a Joe Flacco, for example.

Well, that was easy!

Just a beat down on so many levels.

Congratulations.

I'm sorry we couldn't give you a better game.

I know how much a number of us wanted watt to be drafted by the pats. That draft class was a great one for the d-line watt, kerrigan, and aldon smith. While i thought back in 0'10 that watt and smith would be good i never imagined just how good or great they would be. I know i was shocked to see Watt go as high as he did, but the texans gm certainly did.

I did conclude "at least not yet."

But, he's been in the league six years and put up some great stats. The "next step" is to able to handle a Belichick-style Defensive Game Plan that takes your most important weapons away and still figure a way to stay on the field; tonight he couldn't. As Gruden pointed out, that pick was unnecessary; he had a TD right up the middle. He doesn't have all that much more time to show that he can hang with the best when they come to play.

Agree re Flacco and, as I said in my final point, I really don't want to play these guys again, whereas I don't think Flacco will beat us twice this year.

I think I speak for many here when I say I enjoyed having you here. You are a knowledgeable and gracious poster. The Texans are still a team that I hope we don't have to face again, especially on the road.

So go ahead and take a couple of days and lick your wounds and get the bad taste out of your system and then come on back; there's still a lot of gr8 football to be played and discussed.

Good luck to the Texans. If the Pats don't win it I'd be happy to see your team with the Lombardi.

Huston even though they lost in the short run won. It takes games like this to mold a SB contender. The next time the texans play a big game on a big stage they won't be as aw struck? It will be more familiar and they will play more like the talented team they are.
