Why is everyone talking about him like he's on the active roster? Has that been announced?

My guess is the PS, and even that could be temporary. This board and it's love of fringe players.

You are right--could be PS, which would require another move (either release or call up). Also true that he is unlikely to ever play a down, but we love an underdog.

Either way, it's obvious that Brady needs that trust first. I guess Salas never made an impression with the Pats. Ebert must have impressed in practice, because he was getting throws his way. I was rooting for Salas while we had him, I'm kinda upset we lost him, but it seems like the Pats weren't impressed. I'm hoping Ebert does a Troy Brown, I believe we cut him before he stuck w/the team.

One of the things I noticed about Underwood right away last preseason (2011), was that he seemed to understand/know the play book right away, we gave Cinco the benefit of the doubt that Cinco just needed time, but here was Underwood making catches a week after we picked him up. Then we cut him towards the end of camp (2011), and brought him back, he had a few catches. My point being is, how can a street FA figure out our playbook so fast, yet Ocho took over a year (he still doesn't know it). I know Brady blamed Underwood for an INT (famous Brady/O'Brien fight), but he still seemed to know the playbook better than Ocho.

Look how many WRs we have. If Edelman is out, then Slater is taking meaningful reps there. If Lloyd or Wes were knocked out, Slater might be playing most of the snaps. That's why...

Karen Guregian confirmed about an hour ago that it is to the PS. He will report tomorrow. They don't have to make the corresponding move until he is here and officially signed.

FWIW Shalise says as of yesterday Branch's locker remains intact. The concensus is he is still injured.

Still have four TE's and Vereen could probably line up as a WR.

You mean such as former nobodies like Troy Brown, Bruschi, and Brady?

I thought that when you signed another team's practice squader, you had to sign him to your 53?

It's very strange. Maybe he was cut by Philly outright? Which doesn't speak well of his abilities.

I think Salas was the best bet.

They should have cut Rivera or white or something.
