A mental mistake? I think you are taking it far too seriously. I don't think he did it with the intention of it being put out there. He was just having some stupid fun and someone leaked it. I put it as the equivalent of Brady's waterpark adventure.

The national media was quiet overnight, probably stunned and at a loss for words. Not so quiet in the last hour. Robert is now trending on Twitter...

It's unfortunate. He wasn't as universally beloved outside the area code until last summer. Been treated with near reverence and kid gloves since. The gloves will start coming off now and the reverence will fade into mockery or worse.

It's Bob Kraft reading a script for a Vince Vaughn movie (playing Owen Wilson's role) in an audition video for the girlfriend.

I understand if you're upset about him dating a 30 something, but he's reading a script to a PG13 movie. Him appearing on screen is odd, but as Toucher and Rich suggested this morning on 98.5, he's probably using his own starpower to help her land the job.

Not everyone always saw Kraft as the savior we did or the hero he became last summer... Those folks will again likely start feeling free to commence poking sticks at him on lots of levels.

That was always just a matter of time. The only thing this video shows is that Kraft has gone back to living his life. If that means that some media vultures are going back to the status quo then so be it. He wasn't going to stop living his life because someone, somewhere might say something mean about him.

I read the first couple of pages in this thread before watching the video and was expecting something over-the-top embarassing. After I watched it, I agree with your sentiment.

If Bob Kraft wants to help his friend/girlfriend/whatever audition for a movie role, so what?

On a positive note, I'd love to see Goodell hand the Lombardi trophy to Kraft in February and Bob deliver his final line in reply. It'll never happen (the dialog part), but that's what I'm taking away from this little distraction.

The people outside of NE who are going to blast Kraft for this are the same people who would have found a reason to blast Kraft before they saw this video.
