Has Miguel retired after a decade+ of extraordinary service to all PatsFans? It looks like his last entry was in September of last year.
Any updates on this situation? Is there a plan B? A young up and comer looking to make his bones as he tries to fill some very big shoes?
Ian....the cap page is a huge asset for this site. Don't let it die. If I was running this site, I would reconsider the amount of time your "writers" devote to their "PatsFans" articles that appear to get very little following based on the views tabulation. IMO, their time would be better spent updating the cap page with useful information and facts.
In the meantime, anyone have a link to the Jets site that has Patriots cap info? Imagine that...relying on a Jets site.

We all miss Miquel but this site will have to do for now. How accurate is it is the question.

For a guy who is a Jets' fan, I gotta say this guy Jason (who runs NYJetscap) is pretty accurate. I think his numbers have been pretty close to on the money.

I don't think you get what goes into these amateur cap sites. It's got to be an avocation, because it's not just tracking and collating data, it's understanding all the nuances of the CBA and potential contract structure. Often times these guys are making educated guesstimates based on limited information released via the media and filling in a lot of gaps based on their understanding of what the deal must entail. We are lucky Jason stepped up let alone under the circumstances... He's obviously not just another teams fan, he's a fan of the game and the business of the game.

It is a significant enough task and contribution that I'm almost willing to forgive him for being a Jets fan.

Wait, did I just say that?!
We are grateful for Jason's service to the AFC East. While we honor his diligence and industriousness, we question his judgment in the selection of a team to follow.
There is hope. Woody & Rex can be counted on to screw the Jets up so much, that Jason and others who through no fault of their own, find themselves wearing green and cursing their televisions on Sunday.
To paraphrase Darth Vader: "The ability to destroy a franchise is insignificant next to the power of the Force."

Unfortunately, we can't give the credit to Woody or Rex. That franchise was terminally damaged a long time ago.
The Jets suffered from fractured and bickering ownership in their early years (Werblin et al). Leon Hess took a long time to pick off the pieces and consolidate control while remaining generally aloof from football affairs until the on-field nonsense finally got to him; unfortunately, his response was to take the team into the Carroll-Kotite error. He unknowingly compounded the problem by, with all good intentions, hiring a then dysfunctional Bill Parcells, which led to the final nail in the coffin when a well-known local fellow resigned "as HC of the NYJ."
Woody Johnson outbid the Dolans (a truly fitting fate for the Jets would have been to be purchased by the Dolans, who have already wrecked the Knicks) but has proven that spoiled rich guys who have never had to work a day in their lives and have never run anything but their choo-choo trains as a kid shouldn't try to manage in the big leagues, especially when they're competing for airtime against the likes of Bob Kraft, Jerry Jones, the Mara's, Jeff Lurie, et al.
The news is even better when you figure that if Johnson ever sells the team, it will probably be bought by the Dolans, who will no doubt bring Isaiah Thomas in as "HC of the NYJ."

No doubt the level of cap expertise needed to compile an accurate team assessment is extreme. I would be happy just to read "notes" of each player's contract like Miguel compiled as he built his grid. What would be more valuable for this site...contract info at your finger tips, or lamely written "articles" that offer nothing in terms of info, just rehashes of stuff we already know and have already discussed for hours or days prior to their posting. I occasionally open one of these "articles" hoping to actually learn a new bit of Pats info....but it never comes. These articles are a complete waste of time for the writer and the reader. Their time can be utilized better. In the meantime, we need to go to a Jets site to learn about the Pats cap. Is that good for business?
