Jason Wolfe, vice president of AM programming for Entercom New England, which owns WEEI, voiced confidence the station would withstand the challenge.. . We have the largest audience, and we know what it takes to maintain that audience.”

But... But.... WEEI said the only reason they were losing to 98.5 was because 98.5's FM signal went farther than WEEI's AM signal. Now that WEEI is on FM, they should be kicking 98.5's arse right?!? LOL! WEEI's ratings which combines both the AM and FM signal are still peiss poor compared to 98.5.

Wow that is impressive by 98.5. Personally, I cannot stand the Big Show - Ordway is a total blowhard and he interrupts constantly. If you are going to have a call-in show, you need to let the callers talk once in a while, big O.

But, given where I live, it's what I can get, so I listen anyway.

well i think the midday of mutt and merloni was one of the biggest mistakes they made... they started to direct denis and callahan off of topics...

The only good thing is they have locked up 2 more years of patriots monday .. and Brady and Belichicks interviews,.

I can't stand Ordway, but I really like (or used to like) Michael Holley. Holley has regressed since being teamed with Ordway. I try to listen to the Big Show only because I despise Vulgar and Spazz mostly because they despise Patriots fans, but lately I can't listen to The Big Show either because it's so bad. During the football play-offs I switched from Mut and Merloni to Gresh and Zo because the latter was so much better on football. Now, both shows suck, in my opinion. What a sad state of affairs for local radio. I'd love to see both Ordway and Felger transplanted to the Great Northwest, preferably the Alaskan part near the Arctic Circle. The sound of a single syllable from either of them causes me to change to music instantly.

I took that station off my memory dial in the car and will not listen to it again until that chubby 2-faced jerk DeOssie is canned.

What age group do these numbers represent. IMO the morning show on 98.5 is the most putrid irrelevant dribble on radio. Other than that show I find myself more and more listening to 98.5.
