Colston is bigger, stronger, and better than Wallace. He's played in Saints system which is comparable to Pats offense.

Still pissed we passed on Wallace to take a injury ridden Brandon Tate, and of course Steelers scooped up Wallace with the next pick !
True but notice you left out faster. Wallace is a pure burner and gets seperation. We need this incorporated into out offense as much as I love the Colston idea.

Greetings,
Can't go wrong with either player if you ask me.

O.K. To live in dreamworld, but the Steelers are not giving the AFC Champions and one of their biggest rivals in the Conference a deep threat which was NEs main offensive weakness, for a measly low first round pick which is far from a guaranteed good NFL player.

Give the Steelers brass more credit than being retarded .... They don't remain competive year after year by making brainless and gullible moves like some in here wish upon a star.

Wallace can get downfield and he's improved his 'stick' routes, but I'm still not overly impressed with his ability to consistently get open. Neither is he much value blocking in run support.

I think Antonio Brown is a better route runner than him and more instinctive.

I wouldn't be upset if we did it, but I would prefer signing Marques Colston/Reggie Wayne/BrandonLloyd and keeping the pick. I feel these guys are more complete receivers.

Don't sleep on Reggie Wayne's age....He's Jerry Rice and Tim Brown when it comes to longevity, he has 3 years of 85, 1000, 8 left in him. And he's a clinic on route running with arguably the best hands in football.

While I like Colston, your last claim is highly debatable.

What happened last year then?

Except that we haven't had the greatest of luck with geriatric receivers lately, and we need someone who can stretch a defense, not a wideout who is on the cusp of losing his ability to gain separation.

To who? Wayne or Wallace.

Wayne lost Manning and still managed 75, 960, 4 with Curtis Painter and Dan Orlovsky.

Wallace is improving but he's also the type of player that plays his best when he's 1st in the progression and then gets lackadaisical when he's not.

I don't hate the Wallace idea, I'd just prefer not to lose the pick if we can get one of the other guys.

it's not like Colston has no speed. guy is a 80catch, 1100yard machine for 6 years in a Saints offenses loaded with WR talent. Wallace maybe bit faster that's all. now granted Wallace is 25 and Colston is 29

Colston has great hands, and 6'3 220 very physical receiver, runs incredible routes and VERY underrated. The fact everyone here keeps talking Lloyd, Bowe, Desean, etc without even mentioning Colston is mind boggling

this year draft picks are worth their weight in gold due to new agreement. I see no reason to part with 31st pick just to get Wallace. we have other options
