Default Brandon Spikes has MCL strain
Source: New England Patriots' Brandon Spikes strains MCL, is week to week - ESPN Boston

seems to be the injury going around the pats this year...first Hernandez, then mayo, now spikes....hopefully it isnt too severe and he can be out there against the jets.

I think the emergence of brandon spikes has really done alot to improve our linebackers. that big hit yesterday on the receiver to force a 4th down was big..hes really been hustling out there

Not to change the subject, but I thought I saw Hernandez limping a bit after at least one play. I think he's on the fragile side in general and/or is a guy who doesn't wholly embrace the pain of playing football, which may be one reason he has ball security issues.

Spikes is a massive breath of fresh air and our only LB that played like he actually has testosterone in his body.

Get healthy, kid. Need him in a bad way to keep the Jets run game in check.
