Bruschi seems to pick the Pats the next week after they win and to lose the week after they lose

I think bruschi and mcginest p icked the giants this week to motivate the pats. I was really surprises last week that ACCU Score picked the steelers but of course it was right. This week it picks the pats

"He’s the greatest quarterback to ever play the game. He goes from being a rookie that nobody is expecting anything from, to taking over with people saying he can’t do it, to winning three Super Bowls....It should already be obvious he’s the greatest quarterback to ever have played. "

Whenever there is a panel of 'experts' predicting winners for each game, I envision a producer sitting in the conference room with all the participants and saying 'okay, Team X at Team Y, Team X is favored; who wants to take the underdog in this one?'.

Unless it's a double-digit betting line it seems like there is some sort of rotation where one person is designated to pick the underdog in each game. I question how much of it is each person's actual thoughts, and how much is his assigned role.

I've also seen certain people at TWWL go with one team on one show and the opponent on another show on more than one occasion.

I might give more weight to Bruschi's analysis if his prediction was primarily based on the fact that the Pats have broken win streaks this season and that will put the Pats' home regular season win streak and NFC win streak at risk.

I really enjoy Tedy's contributions to ESPN (Empire State Programming Network). But he goes overboard trying to appear unbiased when it comes to the Pats. I'm old enough to remember when Tom Heinsohn was the color guy for CBS after he stopped coaching the Celtics in the mid-seventies and he did the same thing. It's hard for people used to Tommy on Comcast to believe, but he used to always praise the Celts' opponents and be very reserved about the Celts' chances against them on the Sunday afternoon games.

Im not saying Im picking the Giants but....Im not picking the Pats. Eli has the hot hand and this defensive secondary is in shambles. I think the game will be close but The Giants pass rush and air attack will probably give us some big problems. Game is a toss up IMO.

I seem to recall that most of those on the 4-letter network picked the Pats over the Squealers,
and how did that one turn out?

The mere fact that most of these same brain surgeons are picking the Pats over the Jints
makes me more pessimistic than I already was.
