Default Tom Brady missing some early offseason workouts brings criticism from some...

http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/...ry-workouts-t/

I don't know who this guy is who started this topic, but I don't think he should be questioning why Tom is a bit late in getting to the offseason workout program and spending more than usual time in Europe with Giselle than the usual yearly thing he normally does and thats start workouts in mid march.

Maybe Tom has planned on proposing to Giselle in Europe and needs some time out there to think about things before he does it, or maybe the long season and all the criticism of the team last year during the winning streak and spygate and then the SB loss has wound him up so much that he needs a longer break than usual before going back to the basics.

If there is any guy in the league that needs less time to prepare for an opponent its Tom Brady,Heck Tom could start the workout program 1 week before mandatory camp and still be more than in prime shape to beat most of the opposition this upcoming season.

This guy needs to look deeper to find fault with Toms well deserved time off after a horrid end to a promising season and besides that ankle could use extra time as well to fully heal.

If I could talk to him directly on behalf of Patriot nation about this, I would say "Take your time in Europe and relax Tom,we need you fully healthy from that ankle injury and refreshed both mentally and physically to kick azz again this season!" .

P.S. You want a good laugh?? - Look at that pic of Pacman Jones below that article in the link,He could not be more of a BSer than going to stoop so low to try and get Goodell to believe he is now not only a changed man but now a charitable one - funny but pathetic - He is so full of ***** ,he stinks from head to toe...

The workouts are not mandatory as Stacey James reported today! He said he players can make up workouts on off days as Tom and other players have done in the past. He will once again get his award!

No worries!

The workouts are usually never mandatory but the guy who wrote the article is a critic saying Tom usually NEVER misses EARLY offseason workouts but he is this year - Big deal IMO

How about this:

Quote:
Gaffney added that playing with quarterback Tom Brady was a big part of his decision. He believes seeing Brady in the weight room sets a positive tone for the rest of the team.

"When he's out there working, you have no choice [but] to follow," he said. "That's one of the best quarterbacks who ever played the game. If you're a wide receiver, he's the type of quarterback you want to play for. He spreads the ball around and gives everyone a chance to make plays."

great article about gaffney up there

Tom Brady is Tom Brady

Its no coincidence he wins those awards in the weight room
The last thing we need to do is question Tom Brady's work ethic

Huge deal, I agree. I predict no better than 5-11 because of his poor example, dropping to 2-14 if Tom "the slacker" Brady doesn't start working out by Friday.

We're doomed.

Brady just needs extra time to recover from the thumping he received during the superbowl.

Or, maybe, being 30 and going out with a supermodel, Tom Brady feels there are some more important things than winning football games, especially now that he has 3 superbowl rings and a near-perfect season.
