I can just imagine, how much they will want for the pre-paid parking.

I rember a few years ago, they started a tailgating section where they
provided a grill. I don't know if they still have this, but I remember it was
like $1500 for the season for parking with a grill. This was a few seasons
ago. I have never seen anything about this since then, so I have no idea
what kid or response they got to this overpriced parking.

I park in probably the farthest & cheapest lot. We walk a couple of miles.
but when I get back to my car, I am right out on RT1.

I always say I need the excercise, when actually I am too cheap to pay
the higher prices to park closer.

Since the 90's we've parked in satellite lots mostly on the North side. Ths past year parking started off at $50 (last year it was $40). For the Jacksonville game it was $60 and finally for the Charger game it was $70 to park!. Even with that, the lot was completely filled hours before kickoff

I wouldn't do it (even if I lived there), because I would sometimes take a the train in.

I park in one of the private lots on the other side of the road. It is slightly cheaper and I get in and out a lot quicker. I don't think I will prepay to be stuck in traffic for an extra 30 minutes.

How do you figure? As others said, you pay for parking either way.

Also, The Patriots aren't the first to do this. The Cowboys do it and what is bad is that you find those tickets on e-bay running upwards of $200, just for the parking. Its laughable.

Krafts are looking to lock the consumer in for that money for all 10 games. Most season tkt holders don't go to preseason games.. But by locking that money in early, they are:

1. guaranteed a specific amt of money
2. avg 30,000 cars parked at $40 for a season and you get 12,000,000
3. put that 12mil in and the interest alone is great cash flow for basically doing nothing

Why would a consumer want to lock himself in without added benefits. Are there added benefits?

BTW the stadium is avg at best and the parking/traffic situation is a mess.. Wish they would spend time figuring that one out

We understand it is a real good thing for the Kraft's, but I still don't see where it is a problem for the fan. I don't know about you but I am locked in for the games and for parking wether it is prepaid or not.

It's just not good practice to lend your money out for free. Sure there's little interest to be made on $400 for 6 months or whatever but you know how a bunch of little things add up to a big thing. Save the money, make a little interest. Do it on as regular basis as you can and before long it'll add up to something worthwhile.

And yet nothing else costs more now than it did in 1996. Amazing.
