This seems like more fan made up crap. Have we seen any actual evidence that the coaches have a problem with Merriweather? It certainly didn't affect his playtime past about week 3 last year.

I think Slater and T. White are more special teams players than position players. They may play if someone got hurt. But, we'd pick someone up the next week and they'd just be back to playing special teams. I have T. White over Tarpinian. Have a hard time believing Tarpinian can make anyone's 53 since he wasn't drafted and teams haven't had a good look at him. No off-season will allow teams to keep more of their own cuts IMO becuase teams are busy working with what they have. And, not checking out the waiver wire for cheap options. I'm surprised he's got 11 DL. I count Ninko a lb. So, really just 10. Maybe, we'll start out with that many. I have 9. But, will whittle it down once we see which ones can play and which ones are taking up space.

Who knows what's in BB's mind but...B-Meri totally whiffed on the long Jags kickoff return. It was as bad as when he took out McCourty against the Packers last year on a TD pass. It's no secret he has problems with correct angles at times so maybe BB is tired of seeing it. Like I said though..

I wouldn't read too much into it. A week ago Steve B didn't even know what position he played, let alone have an opinion of him. Reiss and a few other writers mentioned Tarp a few times recently, and I think we're just seeing a regurgitation of that.

Agreed. Belichick re-signed Tracey White, our BEST special teamer. Tarp is NOT beating out White for a roster spot. Tarp is fine pickup for the Practice Squad.

Someone is going to be the 4th OT and the swing tackle on Opening Day. Options are LeVoir, Maneri and a free agent to be named.

If we go to 8 OL's plus Cannon on the PUP, it will be LeVoir on the squad instead of Ohrnberger, since LeVoir can backup at RT, LT and RG. Wendell can backup at C. LG (and also RG).

Don't see BB having only 4 RBs on the roster especially since one has had some leg issues in the pre-season.
