Until they go out and win of course, which is what the usually do and have done since BB/SP took over.

Whatever they decide, it will be in the best interest of the New England Patriots Football Club and that is plenty good enough for me.

I actually don't get sick of the Moss threads. I'm figuratively on the edge of my seat waiting for his free agency decision to play out and I enjoy reading everyone's two cents on the situation.

Again what are we going to get excited about , the jason webster visit...Moss is the key to FA, once he is done one way or another we will be able to move into a different direction.

I'm not worried. Moss isn't going anywhere. All he is doing is seeing what he can get on the market and only ask for New England to come close to matching. However, I do find it puzzling that Moss kept telling reporters last offseason that he didn't care about the money and he only wanted to win a championship. I guess he only meant last year.

Moss took about a 7 million dollar pay cut to his salary in 07. His base salary was 3 million, I guess you can't expect a talent like moss to take a discount year after year. After all, this is probably going to be his final big time contract. Although, I don't see the Pats FO paying Moss 10 million a year, I say sign him for 4 years for about 7-8 million. If he doesn't agree to anything less than 10, he is probably not going to come back. In the end it is all about the money, which is understandable i guess.

Only with certain fans and Felger, but that is true every year. The same people panic every spring. How many doom and gloom threads so we need, anyway?

I don't care if we overpay for Moss. Damn near every signing I've seen since Friday has been some dumb@$$ team overpaying for players that are nowhere near Moss's level. When you get two guys as good as Brady and Moss you keep them at all costs and the with our drafting skills we'll be fine elsewhere. Sign Moss and stay the hell away from Free Agency!!
