Default McDaniels to Brady: "We are not changing a thing"

I heard on ESPN radio that an unnamed or source player on the Pats said that at halftime Brady went to McDaniels and asked about adjustments on the protection and some adjustments in the timing, count. The player said that Josh turned to Brady, rather pissed off and said "No, we have a plan, the plan is good, we are not changing it". Brady did not get pissed or start anything but according the player, Brady lhad stunned look on his face - he looked concerned with the response and lack of change to the plan. The player said that Josh and Tom work great together and are always on the same page and work great as a team, but in this situation Josh wanted to hear nothing.

Now, if this is true and McDaniels was that arrogant and stubborn, it sucks! Tom Brady is the franchise, the best QB/player in the sport and he is looking for some coaching - adjustments and McDaniels is not willing to work on it! Tom was getting his butt kicked all over the place. He takes less money to be on this team and I think he deserves the right to be part of changing the plan when he is getting his arse kicked all over the place.

I really hope this is just some bogus crap story that has not validatity, but I wanted some thoughts...

Haven't we had enough of unnamed sources this last week?

I would say its time for JM to start interviewing for other positions then.

Everyone in the WORLD could see that the PLAN was NOT good.

Screw an OC, just let Brady run the offense.

Update: Well that didn't work out as I had planned. Next year baby, next year 19-0 we go. Next year.

Did the unnamed source say whether McDaniels twisted his mustache rakishly with his pinkie when he said this?

This is soo disturbing. I cant fathom it. Gilbride & Spagnolo vs McDaniels and Dean Pees... brand new coordinators to the Giants.. sucks

Forget the unnamed sources. Josh had a lousy gameplan and didn't adjust at halftime. There is absolutely ZERO excuse for the best offense in the history of football to be held to 14 points.

It was inexcusable that we didn't hand the ball to Brady in the second half and put him in the shotgun and the no-huddle.

================================================== ========
However, the offense did put us in the lead with 3 minutes to go in the game. The special teams VENTRONE! made Eli start at his own 17.

In the end, the defense had to stop Eli from scoring in 3 minutes from 83 yards out. They failed to step up. That was a simple gut check, and the Giants wanted the victory more.
================================================== =======

Let's have some perspective. This team was undefeated in the regular season, and is the AFC champion. If were to have the same team next year, we would be the favorite to go to the Super Bowl and win. The problem, if there is a problem, is that we have several free agents that need to be re-signed or replaced, and a couple of options to consider. We will be getting Morris and Colvin back, but in the end, a couple of players will be on the IR by year-end, so depth is still key.
