Default Is Len Pasquarelli REALLY this stupid about Moss and the offense?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playof...len&id=3194244

Wow.

Do you think that maybe, just maybe, there is a link between Brady setting a record for completion percentage and Moss catching only one pass? Perhaps there is something about Moss' lack of caught passes that correlates with Maroney, Faulk, Watson, Stallworth, Welker, and everyone else being WIDE open all game? Is it POSSIBLE that despite not putting up gaudy numbers, Moss was again the most important receiver on the team tonight?

Unbelievable how dumb these "writers" are. Moss was the ultimate decoy tonight, completely opening up the short passing game by himself. In terms of impact this was one of the best games he's played this season, and one of the most unselfish games of his career. Idiot Pasquarelli declares that "Moss did nothing to dent the Jaguars".

The media slams Moss for being a selfish, me-first player, and then when he makes sacrifice tonight, the consensus is they played well DESPITE Moss not being impactful. Do you remember before the season how everyone predicted Moss would grumble when he wasn't the prime target? How many other premier receivers tonight would have been happy running decoy routes and throwing blocks all game? TO? Chad Johnson?

Expect to hear plenty more hogwash this week from a bunch of idiotic pundits who won't simply fess up and admit they've misjudged Randy Moss.

Yeah..and whats funny is that he correctly points out how they used the extra safety up top on him but then goes on to say Moss "didn't put a dent" in their defense. Well Len...taking defenders away from other targers IS putting a dent. Not only the receivers were help, but dont you think Maroney going for big runs was in large part due to safeties need to help out Moss??

I just read the article and i really didn't take it negatively. He was just commenting how well the Pats played, considering Randy didn't have more catches

Here's what people don't seem to get about Moss. He doesn't need to catch 10 passes for 180 yards and 2 TDs to be valuable or change a game.

Clearly the Jags invested a lot into stopping him tonight and when teams do that, you sacrifice in other areas and that showed tonight with Maroney and the other WRs.

Obviously that concept escapes Len.

That you can read that article and take something negative out of it is pretty frigging hilarious.

Only at patsfans.com would this happen.

Absolutely.

Or any Patriots board...

My bad, my fellow Pats fans overreact sometimes...

Enlighten me on how that article was negative in the slightest, please. Because from reading it thoroughly it seems more likely that it's just another instance of a poster with impossibly thin skin imagining a slight where there is none.
