There's a whole management concept/style of "continuous improvement" which BB embraces. It involves always looking at what you just did and the results and then finding even the tiniest ways to improve. It can be implemented by capable managers without denigrating the employees. Having model employee leaders like Brady who embrace the idea and are not threatened by constructive criticism can make the difference between a successful company culture or a disaster (q.v. the 2009 Patriot disfunctional vet culture)

Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
