Thanks for the info. That's some pretty good news... sorta. I had a hunch they'd do something for this ONE game, it would have looked pretty bad if they did not.
The draw, success and power of the Patriots right now must really piss Goodell off.... I am truly ecstatic that the draw of the Pats has forced the NFL into this act. Let's hope for future success to continue this trend.
so we can see the game on not just 1, or 2, or even 3, but 4 channels saturday

Bill Belichick: "Marquise will be remembered as a thoughtful and caring young man who established himself as one of the year-round daily fixtures of our team."
Kudos to Roger Godell. Say what you will about him but he is making every effort to satisfy fans. It's a good move and the right move.
He's not making every effort to satisfy fans, he's making every effort to avoid striking a deal with cable companies and is only acting now out of political pressure and the fact that this will be the highest rated regular season game in quite some time, possibly ever. Bad business decision to let only 40% of your audience watch the game, and not to mention excluding the potential audience (millions more viewers) you're trying to strike interest in.
The NFL only cares about money, first and foremost. The games going to London, trying to add one for overseas every year now, monopolizing Sunday Ticket, satisfying regular fans is not their primary concern.

bingo! we got bingo! im thrilled that the games will be viewable, but dont worry, the nfl did it for the money the networks paid, not for love of fans!

to destroy the Patriots from within. (When) they could have had

Easy to figure out. Christopher Price isn't just another Bozo message board poster, he's a Patsfan.com columnist and this thread is an automatically-generated pointer to his column on this subject.
