Default Fat Lady Sings in the Fat Man's Suit

Don't have a link for it ... but
NESN reports in a crawler that
Mass General and the docs have been exonerated
in Charlie Weis' suit against them.

Regrettable that CW should have sunk to this trick.

This is a most wonderful thread title!

"Fat Man's Suit" connotes Santa Claus, especially to those of us who know of the top-notch children's book, The Mole Family's Christmas, which refers to the "fat man in the red suit."

Then there's the image of the fat lady wearing this man's suit, whether it be from Gentleman's Warehouse or of the red-and-cotton variety, singing away.

The critics have plenty to sink their teeth into here....

Turns out the Herald has had it up since this afternoon.
Jury deliberated only TWO HOURS.

not surprising it didn't take them long to decide. there are tons of risks to the surgery, and they are well known

The most tragic thing is that in Charlie's case, the surgery appears to not have worked.

It's depressing when even a respected football coach succumbs to the it-didn't-work-out-so-let's-sue syndrome, but the thread title was a work of art.

Well I think we could all learn a lesson: if you are priveleged enough to be able to afford the two of the country's most prominent surgeons for what you need done, don't sue them if it doesn't work.

Yo Chuckie,
Stop eating, man!

Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
