I Think Carr could still be a good NFL QB.

Vince has skills, but I'm not sure he will develop his passing game to where it needs to be.

Carr had a pretty good year in 06, with no line protection and no running game at all.

So I agree Houston is a mess right now.

I would love to see Carr go to Cleveland and have them draft Calvin Williams.

Charley Casserly was/is the joke! Even though the price was high to get Shaub, the QB possesses, without question, the closest on-field resemblence to Tom Brady than any other player in the NFL. This move is no joke, as Shaub, much more than the Falcon's Michael Vick ever will, has the ingredients to elevate the Texans to the next level. I congratulate the Texan's front office for a great move.

What have you seen that made you come to this conclusion?

It is kind of funny how the Texans think that an unproven Schaub and a over the hill Ahamd Green are the key to the Texans making the playoffs this year. It's almost like they are in the Arena League pretending what they have to do to win the Grey Cup or whatever it is.

Honestly, how much have you people seen of this guy? I can count on one hand the posters who can get his name right. That raises legitimate questions about how often you've seen the back of his jersey.

Schaub.

In the 2005 season, the Patriots traveled to Atlanta to play the Falcons. Shaub played most of that game as the Atl QB in a narrow loss to the Patriots. Shaub's appearance and play looked eerily similar to the 2000-2001 vintage Tom Brady.

I don't recall specifics on that game but now that you mention it, I do remember some discussion about him, especially as he was so glaringly opposite from Vick.

I had completely forgotten about that one-you're right,Schaub looked very good.

That's my recollection. Brady like is certainly a stretch based on how much he has played.

Apparently OC had a year to look at Carr and didn't like him. You have to assume he knows which he likes until he's proven wrong.

Hard to judge based on playing time, (Schaub), or conditions, (Carr).

I remember this game but you have to keep in mind he was playing a New England defense that was horrible against the pass. Look at the yardage these guys put up.

Brees-248
Schaub-298
Plummer-262
Holcomb-263
Manning-321
Frerotte-360
Brooks-343
Green-323

All in consecutive weeks.
