I still don't buy into that run defense by the Indianapolis Colts. The Patriots completely abandoned the running game in the second half after gaining 80+ yards in the first half. How does one of the worst rush defenses in NFL history turn it around so quickly in the playoffs does not compute. I hope the Chicago Bears run the ball right down their throats as was the case against the overrated New Orleans defense.

Your post makes an excellent point, and hopefully Lovie sees the fact that the AFCCG was more about the Pats giving up their run rather than Indy's defense being so outstanding. I wish we had continued to pound them and if Lovie does what we didn't do,that Indy defense is eventually going to give.
I don't buy it either, and neither should Smith. At least take a shot at exposing it-sooner or later it's rep for being porous should show itself.

this is more or less what i think too...
i care only about us
i don't care about the other teams

i would have really wanted the payback after 21 years to the Bears

pity and sad we were unable to make a revenge for the 'old' Patriots version 1985

Colts-Bears for me it doesn't matter

No matter who wins, I will still feel sick about last week. Whoever wins, I will be nauseated knowing how close we were, and that the trophy should be ours.

I was rooting hard last yr for Pitt to lose, because I hate the Steelers.. I think its safe to say that the game of us not being there when we were so close to going is the most frustrating thing us Pats fans have felt in a long while...With that being said , Go Bears...

Then next year they lose a bunch of players and it's back to the beginning.
They would have blown their best chance for HorseFace McGee to get a ring.

If the Bears beat them i would be thrilled. It would make everything better.
And it would mean Manning choked yet again, on the biggest of stages.

I don't know why everyone is acting like he already won the Superbowl
My personal opinion is I would rather lose to the eventual Superbowl champion it kind of eased the pain for me after the Pats kicked our ass two years in a row but ended up winning the Superbowl. I would hate to lose to a team then watch that same team go out and get there butt kicked in the next game, that just makes your team look that much worse. Just my two cents for what its worth..

If the Colts win or lose. It will be Peyton came close last year, he's gonna win it this year.

If they win it will be ...Peyton is going to repeat. This is the start of the colts dynsty.

my enjoyment will not be in if they lose the superbowl but seeing them be so close to the cap and having to let players go and not being able to bring in any big names and drafting 31 or 32

the pats already beat the bears, so i'm fine with the bears winning. i just hope it is a competitive game on both sides.

Oh I forgot you already played the Bears...so it would be easier for the Pats to want to see the Colts get there asses handed to them which I totally understand...
