Default Phins & Chargers

Well it looks like both teams are majorly impacted with the hiring of Cam Cameron. Beside my dislike of his former position, he is a solid offensive mind which the Phins really needed. I think he is better than Saban and knows how to play NFL football. My largest worry is what he will do with Ronnie Brown. Brown may become an elite runner (top 5) once their oline gets revamped. The GREAT news is that they still can't touch the Pats because of their QB.

IMO the Chargers are in trouble without Cameron. I do believe that he ran the team more than Marty, and that without him that offense will slow down. MVP or no MVP you have to have the plays to run on. Marty is a puppet and SD will no return as the #1 seed next year.

I see your point with Miami but i believe there will be another one or two year turn around for them again seeing as cameron will probably have a different plan. All i know is Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor cant play forever so they better get moving.

San Diego knew this was coming and might even lose Wade now. The team will be impacted yes i agree but they will still be a playoff team next year and a Super Bowl contender. Too many young great players and too much talent and cap room for them not to be.

I think Miami will be in the AFCE cellar for a while. Their best players are getting old and they haven't brought a lot of talent in from the past couple of drafts. Miami will be our easy wins for a few years to come.

I have no comment on Cameron w/regard to the Chargers, we'll have to wait and see how much impact his leaving SD will have. I can't even guess right now.

Saban wasn't exactly an NFL virgin, he'd seen it before with Belichick in Cleveland. Until proven otherwise there's no reason to think Cameron is a better coach than Saban.

Ummm...easy wins? Did you not see the Pats get smoked in Miami 21-0? Miami in Miami is always a tough game. Always has, always will be. It's pretty much the reason why the Pats have never swept the division.

It's pretty hard to screw up an offense when you have LT and Gates on the field. I don't know how much credit Cam should get for that.

Yeah I know, it may be 2008 not 2007, we'll see but when those old defensive guys really turn the corner it's going to get ugly.

It looks like the Chargers are going with Clarence Shelmon to replace Cam Cameron. Shelmon has a long history as running backs coach and is familiar with their offense. If anything he may rely even more on LT which is never a good thing for opposing teams. If SD had stayed more with LT in the 2nd half of the Pats game it may have had a different outcome.

Waiting for their playmakers to get older is not really that great of a strategy. That's like saying "Our game plan is chuck the ball down field and hope for PI because we can't move the ball any other way". You just can't count on guys to get older and hope they lose a step.

Well they're gonna be a year older and there's not a lot of young help coming on that roster. Sure they beat us 21-0 but they were marginal this year - let's see how things go without the coach that knows Belichick inside and out.

If we don't win both Miami games by 10+ points next year I'll be surprised.
